The TMS9918A VDP is one of the legendary video processors of its time, now available for your RC2014 - if you are looking for a graphics card, this module may be the right choice for you!
The module comes pre-assembled, so one can immediately set it up and use it. There are some demo applications and even RC2014 ports of two legendary ZX81 games for you to try out in the code repo, adding up to the user experience.
RomWBW users may enable TMS9918 support before building a custom RomWBW image and can then use the module for console *output* only, while keyboard input is then still provided via serial console and a terminal program, just as you would usually do. This also works with Z180 based machines.
The quality of the module (PCB and overall build) is perfect and the TMS9918A chip works flawlessly. Shipping from UK to EU mainland was quick (6 days) which was also very nice.
I can recommend this module to anyone who wants to add graphics capabilities to their RC2014.
