We are often afraid of what we can't see or feel: radio waves, radiation... This device lets us grasp the various kinds of waves, their strength, their pulses. You can point it at close range onto an electronic device and hear it "tick". You can get near a wifi antenna and hear the signal, get a little bit further and not hear it anymore. You can hear the 50Hz of the power grid, the higher frequencies of hashing power supplies...
But that's only the first part. When you start listening to electronic devices that are pulsing, they suddenly become beat boxes and start making some great samples. From electronics to electronic music...
Assembly was a piece of cake. Just be careful that the led and the two "antennas" need to bend 90°, so look at the pictures before soldering. (BTW, this is "soldering", not "welding")
