Awesome Product and Seller

For LedBox V3

Purchased this product to get into Addressable LEDs with more control then MagicHome. Big fan of WLED and in looking at the list of supported hardware, I was able to find LedBox which is a self contained unit. This was my preference as my need was for a bookshelf and I didn't want to get into soldering or anything else given it was a simple install.

LedBox did the trick, I had one question regarding adding additional power that was in the documentation, but my brain didn't catch my strip was more then 3A so I missed it. Either way, near real time responses and help which was greatly appreciated.

Put a 4 for shipping - I am 99.9% sure this is related to ordering just before Christmas an international shipping. There were a few moments where we both thought it was lost in transit, but appears just slow moving which, again, I know is 100% on the international carrier and the time of year, the seller was top notch and shipped quickly.

Great product.

For LedBox V3

This is my second order. Product works flawlessly and as advertised. No big deal but shipping transit time was a bit long (about 4 weeks). I'm spoiled with usually less than 2 days Amazon orders. I had a little scare on delivery as packaging was quite a bit damaged but product was fine as protection foam absorbed the shock.

After digging around I found out that power supply requirement for ws2812b leds is approx 0,2~0,3 watt per led. Including a small chart with typical power requirement per led type would be a nice addition to your documentation. I'm looking forward to getting the newer WLED 0.13.1 binaries, any ETA on that front? And one last thing, do you have insight as to operating temperature capability as I'm planning for some outdoor application in an weatherproof enclosure but in -30c cold?

Even though I usually send the package within the same or next day after receiving the order, the shipping time can sometimes take longer than expected. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do to influence it if I use the traditional postal service.

I am mentioning the typical current draw of ws2812b (35-55mA per LED) in the explanatory YouTube video linked on the product's page. However, you are right that this information is missing in the text version, so I have updated it.
Regarding the WLED 0.13.1, the sound-reactive version is only available as a pre-release beta, so I will compile and make the binaries available as soon as there is a stable release. You can already update to the master 0.13.1 version if you do not care about the sound-reactive features.
I have not tested the LedBox for extreme operating conditions, but according to the datasheet of the components that I am using, you should be able to go down to -40°C. This is excluding the TSOP38238 IR diode (that one can only do -25°C).

Magnificent!

For LedBox V3

The quality of the Ledbox is very good and it is sooo tiny, that's wonderful. I'm interested in LED strips for some years now, but I didn't found an ideal controller nor an easy configurable software for my ideas.
With WLED and LEDbox my search is definitely over. Since my spare time is limited, this solution with pre-programmed firmware is ideal for me. It does everything I ever wanted to do - and this right out of the box :)

Used the ledbox V2 on a project of mine and it works great! It does everything it says, Would like to buy a couple more however unfortunately at this time it’s out of stock.. put me on the waiting list!

Great do-it-all board for WLED beginners!

When I first purchased it, there was little/no documentation publically available. After getting in touch with Stanley with a few basic setup questions (which he gladly answered to help me get started!), he updated the project page on his website to include EVERYTHING I needed! Power input ratings, default pinouts, quick guide to OTA updates, and more. He's also updated these resources to make sure that it's as easy as possible to plug-and-play with compatible hardware. If I run into any weird hardware quirks (I don't expect to, the board and 3D-printed case are very nice together!), I have no doubt that Stanley will be able to help me in the right direction. I would highly recommend!

Thanks to the ease of use for the LedBox, I've been able to compile/flash custom WLED firmware, which makes it easy to take advantage of the open-source nature of the hardware/software. I was also able to use the "clock" pin on the board (not needed for my lights) to control a relay so I can safely power my ~650 LEDs. This board is overall an AMAZING starting point for any ESP32 WLED project. It works right out of the box, and with careful planning and safety in mind, it has had no trouble expanding to the specific needs of my project.

Great Led controller

For LedBox V3

I was looking for a simple integrated Led controller for a WS821X type, capable of running something like WLED. This LedBox fit the description perfectly. The LedBox V2 is easy to setup. Plug in your power supply, plug in your ledstrip. Setup the software and you're up and running.
I plan to attach the ledstrip to my desk and use the LedBox's WLED firmware to control it from my computer.

Perfect product exactly what I was looking for

This is awesome. It was designed very well and exactly what I was looking for. I've easily removed the 3-pin connection and soldered a 4-pin LED cable to the board. The schematic was well designed and enabled me to configure the latest version of WLED
