spider bot

Honest seller and high quality products!

For ATX Board

I purchased a RAMPS board from staticboards a couple of years ago and was highly impressed - it still runs my home-built Delta printer. My hacked up ATX power supply died and I was looking for a good, clean solution to power my 3D printer and came across this ATX board. I purchased two, but they got lost in the mail somehow - so the seller re-sent. They had great communication! As someone who's purchased multiple products from this vendor, I highly, highly recommend them - not only is what they produce of the best quality, the seller does a great job in communicating and helping their customers.

Awesome Quality Product, Long Lead Time

For RAMPS 1.4 SB Premium

Of course, this product was coming from Spain but it took nearly as long to receive it as it does when ordering parts from China. That said, the quality of this device *far* exceeds anything you'd get from China.

Love RAMPS 1.4 SB !!

I just received it yesterday, The product made by high quality components. Although it's much more price than cheap china board but I think it worth to buy.
My opinion the power terminal soldered back of the PCB board.It stuck with arduino mega's power jack 2.1mm when assembly together but no problem.

9.5/10 Will Buy Again

For RAMPS 1.4 SB Premium

Nearly perfect in all aspects. Super solid board, MOSFETs on the heating circuits never get hot, even without active cooling, the documentation was on point and easy to read, seller had all the answers when I asked questions. The only things I think could be improved is better shipper communication (not seller's fault in the least), and one small issue on the power input ports: there was a bit of extra solder on those pins that I had to clean off with some flush cutters. That only took a few seconds, and was more in the manner of a small cleanup task than an actual issue. Will absolutely buy again for my next build in a few months.

Excellent quality board, but slow international shipping.

For RAMPS 1.4 SB Premium

Ordering and shipping from supplier very prompt and efficient. Regular shipping from Spain to Canada is very slow (about 4 weeks in this case), but out of control of the shipper and receiver. Packaging was very good. Build quality of board excellent and I cant wait to connect it up. I would order again from this supplier and would recommend to others. Faster shipping options, although more expensive, would be an option.

Wonderful RAMPS Board. Buy this over all others

For RAMPS 1.4 SB Premium

I've been through a few RAMPS vendors, and anyone looking for a reliable, high quality RAMPS should immediately purchase this board. Mosfets do not overheat and quickly heat the bed and extruder. The diodes barely warm while everything comes up to temp. You can really tell that this is a high quality board and works wonderfully. For anyone who cares about shipping speed, it can take some time for the board to ship. The vendor's chosen shipping vendor also has very low communication, so don't panic like me when you don't see any tracking updates until the package actually shows up at your door. It was definitely worth the wait, however. All considered, the vendor has provided an amazing product with wonderful support. 10/10.

Work in progress

For OVM20 Lite 100% Compatible with RAMPS 1.4 / Marlin

Discovered the board, hoped it would be a single board, affordable alternative 3dp controller. It has two main issues; requires chinese driver for cheap serial to usb convertor on the board, wich is a problem for some 64bit Win OSses. And it takes only 12V input, plaguing the board with unessessary high amperage. Maker was véry fast to answer on a bulk order request, but plain ignored our proposal for a (bulk)redesign. Manners, you got them or you dont.

Really nice board!

Very nice board. Brand name Molex connectors, quality construction, and the stepper drivers sit snugly in their respective slots. The pads even appear to be gold plated.

Lovely Shield for GRBL Cnc

For Arduino CNC Shield Premium

Bought this to replace my busted woodpecker CNC board, The build quality is very nice and it looks fantastic. As for basic functionality all the information is there. I have not wired limit switches yet but plan on doing that when I have the time. Word of Advice, Is just be very careful when using stepper motor drivers, plugging them in upside down with current running will mostly likely wreck both the arduino and the stepper motor driver! All In all I am very happy with this board and hope to get everything up and running soon. (only downside is I had a hard time tracking the shipping, product wise it is very nice.) Documentation is nice but could use a little work however overall i am very happy.

Perfect board having everything included

For OVM20 Lite 100% Compatible with RAMPS 1.4 / Marlin

I use this board for my custom 3d-printer. i particularly like that the stepper drivers are already on-board. It is very easy to setup. Due to its RAMPS compatibility it is supported by more than one firmware without tinkering. The boards and components where high quality just as claimed. Downside maybe is you can not use 24V for the steppers. But you can use a separate power supply for the heated bed.

Would definitely buy again.

Huge step up from generic bargain basement versions

For RAMPS 1.4 SB Premium

So far so good, extremely clean soldering and a great looking board. Stepper drivers insert smoothly and don't hit each other as they did with my generic ramps. Additional silk screened labels are great and in general seems to be working well (time will tell of course). Running with TMC2100 drivers at the moment.

Haven't tested yet, but the parts and soldering looks really solid. Visual inspection passed! Very pleased with the quality.

Good Product

For RAMPS 1.4 SB Premium

Overall a solid board; better quality than the ones you will purchase on eBay. I did have to trim one joint for it to fit flush to Arduino Mega but other than that all the other joints look good. If all goes well I will def. be purchasing a couple more.

Unfortunately, the original design on the RAMPS does not address this well, and good connectors have strong pins that will go deep to the power jack.

So, what I usually do is to desolder the power jack in the arduino. It is true that I go quick because I have an air solder, but it is not hard to desolder it by hand (specially if you use some solder flux)

No obstante no se si en el futuro quizás podrían hacer una revisión en la que los puertos USB se puedan apagar/encender independientemente.

Fantastic

For RAMPS 1.4 SB Premium

If you're thinking of purchasing a RAMPS board for anything, this is THE one to buy. I've owned two others that, yeah, they worked, but were pretty cheap in terms of components. I'm building a 3D printer and put a lot of work into making the rest of the thing nice, so decided to get the nicest board I could for longevity and quality - I am very pleased with this one. Quality workmanship, works great, and I got it shipped from Spain to the US in less than a week for really not much more than it would cost to get a crappy board. There's even some added functionality that you don't see on others (diode protection on D8-D10) If I have to purchase another board to replace any others that fail in the future, this is what I'll be buying! Great work.

I just had to lower a bit the connectors solderings to better fit arduino

Excellent design and very quick shipping.

For ATX Board

With this board I was up and running with a working supply within minutes of unpacking. Unit comes with everything needed. Connectors can either be assembled directly to the board or chassis mouned for greater convenience in enclosure design. While other reviews have remarked about the lack of documentation, i found this to be no drawback at all, as the silk screening on the board clearly labels everything making this board completely self explanatory. As I have a number of atx psu's lying around, I can see me ordering a couple more of these boards. Thank you staticboards.

Great product and excellent build quality

If you're using an ATX power supply for DIY projects, then this is the product you've been waiting for. Provides a reliable and safe connection to your power supply without cutting cables or voiding warranty. Thick PCB allows for stable mounting. A couple suggestions for improvement: documentation and an additional connector for 3x3 ATX rail. Very complete kit includes screw-on banana connectors with an array of nuts, washers, and terminals. More complete documentation would provide guidance for assembling these connectors. An additional 6 pin molex connector would be handy, as many PSUs put their secondary 12V rail on this connector. All in all, a very useful product. Thank you.

I had to put a piece of electrical tape over the LEDs which were blindingly bright. Otherwise it's much better than the Dangerous Prototypes version I have used.

Setup and Go

For ATX Board

With a few power supplies laying around I came across this and was pleasantly surprised. It was something that I could benefit from. It was almost plug and play; if I did not need the 12V posts attached it would have been. There was no documentation. It would be nice to have a diagram on a link to one. It works as described. I'll add it to my electronics bench. Thanks.

Great product that gets used a lot.

For ATX Board

Fanatic product and a great way to recycle old computer parts.

However as simple as it is to assemble some guidance would have been beneficial including images of all side of the board -- I'm still not sure I have attached the 12V terminals correctly.

The video was visually educational but as I don't speak Spanish I couldn't understand what was being said. If it is possible the video could be sub titled into English or dubbed by an English speaker.

Overall I find the ATM Board a great purchase that will hopefully power my developmental projects for many years to come. Review Image

Compared to the other, cheaper, RAMPS boards I have bought this is a much better proposition altogether. Very well made, looks much nicer and works a treat.

All in all, highly recommended.
