This is a really simple, plug-and-play (MOSTLY) unit!
For Flipper Zero Stealth CC1101 Sub-GHz Module
This is a really nice, pretty low-profile expansion sub-ghz antenna. I was a little worried at first looking at the product images, thinking it would stick out a lot, but after it getting here, and slotting it into the GPIO positions, it fits really well, and is a close match to my orange flipper case.
I was surprised to see all I needed to do was switch GPIO to 5V mode, and the Flipper actually automatically switched to external unit mode. That may be normal, but I am a new Flipper user, so I don't know myself.
This really works the exact same, and, while I cannot confirm 100% that I am seeing a major range jump, I can definitely see that there is some improvement. Mostly I'm just casually trying the same thing I was doing at slightly farther distances. But it also seems that I am definitely transmitting a stronger signal.
The seller is SUPER on point with contact and feedback, and this price point is pretty great.
EDIT: This unit was working great, and then something felt off, so i took a quick peek, and somehow my 5v setting had been turned off. Maybe the pins came out too far, maybe it happened on a reset, not sure. But after setting it to 5V again, I can ABSOLUTELY confirm this does indeed expand your sub-ghz range a good deal. All I can say to other users who may be having issues, try looking into that if you are having issues. Also, DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT IT HAPPENING. YOU DIDN'T MAKE THIS. If you think you can do better, then DO IT.
The other reviews say they don't think this is a great add-on, but I disagree. I am 100% happy with this purchase.

Thanks for the time you took on this review Robert. I am glad the unit is working good for you and that you were able to troubleshoot your issue, that 5v setting can be pesky! :)
