Unique, ​handmade guitar pickups using the same techniques as those used
in vintage Fender Strat & Tele pickup making.

Custom electronic musical instruments that are inspired by the art and technology of Circuit Bending, LoFi, 8Bit and Chip Music genres, sounds of classic 8 Bit computers, video game consoles and synthesizers of the 80's and 90's.

Brief History
Guitar making: I began building classical guitars in 1996, using the traditional Spanish method and soon after experimented with combining elements of lesser known instruments with the electric guitar, making things such as electric Mandocellos, electric Citterns and baritone guitars.

Circa 1999 - Made many custom Tele bodies which sold on Ebay and my website at the time (ElectroKraft). Then onto Strat & Tele pickup making with the generous help of pickup maker Jason Lollar and his book as a guide.

Around the same time (1999-2000) I discovered the work of Reed Ghazala and his website Anti-Theory, which displays his work in Circuit Bending. His "Vox Insecta" instrument fascinated me and encouraged me to try making my own Circuit Bent musical instruments.
Circuit bending led me to the serious study of electronic circuit design.

2003 -- Studying microcontroller programming using the Basic Stamp, then Microchip Pic and Arduino for the purpose of making Synthesizers and MIDI instruments. An interest in 6502 assembly language programming and with the help of people from NESDev.org I made something called the Super Synth Drums NES cartridge and the DrumAxe (a crazy controller for the NES used in combination with the Super Synth Drums cartridge).

A lot of MIDI controllers, 8Bit synthesizers/oscillators and pickups later, I'll be offering some interesting things for guitarists, bassists, electronic musicians, or anyone (musician or not) who'd like to explore the possibility of creating new sounds.

I have recently created the Ohminous Synth ))))))0000 SCARY.
It is a digital synthesizer that uses granular additive synthesis (in the chips software, i.e., "Firmware").

Three simultaneous waveforms combine in very interesting ways to produce soundscapes suitable for sci-fi, horror, as well as tranquil calming sonic backgrounds.

Everything I make comes with a repair warranty for as long as the the original purchaser owns it. If anything ever goes wrong with your synth you can return it for a free repair or replacement/exchange.

I take great pride in my creations and I want to keep them functioning for as long as I can. They are made with custom and tested circuit boards, and include all new, high quality components.
