For USB Megadrive Genesis cartridge Reader/Writer

I ordered the product 4 days ago, received the day I wrote this review (product received in France). Excellent product quality: as shown in the photos in the product description.

I tested it under Linux (Debian 12). Bastien guided me on how to use the product: I didn't want to do mistakes with it and he explained everything to me. Thanks to his project, I was able to recover my collection of Mega Drive games (31 games including Sonic 1/2/3/3D/Knuckles/Spinball, Flashback, Soleil, The Story of Thor, etc.).

I highly recommend it :) ! Congratulations on the work done on this project !

For USB Megadrive Genesis cartridge Reader/Writer

Works just as it was intended to, saving your games and save files are very easy. (as long as you know how to use command prompt)

One thing you should know before buying:

It doesn't come with the mini-USB type B connector for you to plug into, so make sure you get one that supports data transfers and not just power, or else you'll just get power and nothing else.

Fantastic Customer Support, Works Great!

For USB Megadrive Genesis cartridge Reader/Writer

I got unlucky with a rare bad unit at first, but Bastien was incredibly helpful and responsive with helping me test it out and diagnose the issues. Once we determined the unit was defective he offered a free replacement or refund, which of course I still wanted a working unit. He knows what he's doing and has got your back. Quick shipping both times, even from France to California about 9 days each time, and the new unit works fantastic. I looked for quite a long time and if you want a Mega Drive/Genesis dumper this is the perfect choice. Software is super simple to use too. I can confirm dumping retail North American Genesis games just fine and even several Genesis prototypes I have that are on development EPROM carts from the 90's. I am only using this for dumping and have not tested the write functions, but this is by far the most affordable dumper out there.
