Defective, no support at all
For 8 ch Opto Isolator board 5-24VDC in 3.3-5VDC out
This item either arrived defective or failed shortly thereafter. Email to the tech support email address never got a response. I even mailed the board back to Barch Designs asking for repair or replacement quotes... never got a response.

Hi Charles, I would have been happy to replace or refund this for your but I never received an email, phone call, or product to replace from you. Feel free to contact me at 877-201-9771. While that alternative is similar, you can see it is not nearly as robust of a product. I designed this board to work in a commercial CNC dirty environment. The cheap you one you point out is a poor quality and won't hold up to demanding situations. That was the reason I designed this board, as there was, and still is nothing on the market that can match it. I've personally gone through almost a dozen different boards that fail with vibration or dirt. You get what you pay for and it sounds like you may have had it wired incorrectly. I'd be happy to get you straightened out, just contact me.
