A great starting step for your next uSDX SDR radio project

Top quality PCBs, beautiful readable components mask in white color, tested continuity as an old habit of mine and all is good to go populating the boards. And the package arrived right in time as advertised, using proper packaging.

Good radio for starters, but could use improvements.

For DSP RADIO Multi Band AM/MW/LW/SW-SSB/FM with RDS

Nice design. Would like to know about using a ferrite antenna for AM reception? I have the RF preamp, which I think is combining the AM/FM/SW to use just a single antenna. I have hooked up an outdoor antenna to get better reception. Indoors with a telescoping antenna I could barely receive anything even with the preamp. Audio from the headphone jack is very low. Adjusting the volume any higher than 50 starts distorting the audio. Using 2 18650 batteries in series would be better if provided a 3-terminal connector for balanced charging. Display could be bigger, I'll fix that. Ability to flush mount the front PCB board to a panel don't look like it would go well. Probably same for the rear unit connectors running flush on a panel. Looks like this is using the arduino library but still would like to see your source code to do some minor modifications. This is more of a test bed for me as I am planning my own design soon for use in an automobile. The cost of the unit was acceptable I have no complaints with that. Was considering getting the other unit you have with the color LCD display when I have the money to do so. A schematic of the RF preamp PCB board would be nice. Everything arrived good to the US and it was delivered fast.

Awesome radio.

For SI4735 D60 TFT 2.8" ESP32 ALL BAND RADIO

As a novice to the world of SDR, This unit is perfect for exploring the "ether". Good construction and really nice software UI.

Just started printing out the 3D case for it and I a sure it will look just great once I have it in its case.

I am looking forward to listening in to the many transmittions out there.

The best Nano VNA Test Board you can get.

For Nano VNA Test Board Demo

I use it for educational purposes to show fellow ham's the usage of a (Nano)VNA during club meetings and courses.

The reason I bought this from Jason is because of bad experience with the Rf Demo Kit for NanoVNA boards using UFL connectors. UFL connectors aren't made for multiple insertions. This PCB uses normal SMA PCB connectors and can be used over and over again (professional specs say 500 times, but for hobby and education, they may last a lifetime).

The used components are standard, and the more difficult components (BPF and BSF), you can buy them at digikey or mouser. Our you could do like I did, de-soldered from the now un-used Rf Demo Kit I had laying around (the one with damaged UFL connectors).
