Great Looking Case with Needed Improvements
For Aluminum Case for Raspberry Pi 3
Pros - Best looking case and just heavy enough to keep it from moving around. The colors are awesome and I wish I could buy one of each. I like the reboot button it is very handy.
Cons - Two cases arrived in the mail and both had scratches. It looks like the packaging needs to be improved to keep the case from being damaged during shipping. It is a shame that soldering is required. The camera attachment slot and screws are nice but you cannot adjust where the camera is taking pictures unless you move the whole case. Moving the case to take a picture is not possible for me. Documentation does not mention anything about the thermal grease. The sticky pads applied to the heat sink pillars that are shown in the documentation were new to me. I wasn't sure if the grease was applied to them or not. The heat sink pillars were also not something I have seen before. I had to remove existing heat sinks to use the cases. I don't like the logo on the top of the case. The reboot button should be an on/off switch.
I am happy with my cases but thought I would share thoughts on minor improvements. I would buy more if small changes are made.
