Should be on everyone's breadboard
For Toadstool Mega328
I bought this because I am really a 'minimalist' at heart and wanted to advance from the Arduino heavy code/memory overhead to programming the raw uC where I could access all the chip features and follow my minimalist desires. I am a long ago retired programmer and was schooled in such archaic languages as Pascal and Cobol along with several others. However, most of my programming was done on databases and now I wanted to play/learn with a relatively - new to me- language, C, and make some little projects for my use and enjoyment. I wanted to fully exploit the chip to it maximum capability. So I started bread boarding the 328 and immediately ran into problems with the rat's nest of connections when circuits wouldn't work (I know we've all experienced that miserable situation). Fortunately, I'd been reading Nuts&Volts and when Andrew began his series of "Beyond The Arduino" I saw the answer to my rat's nest problem. The TOADSTOOL. This is an incredible product. It contains everything needed to assist bread boarding a project. It's as small as practical, fits perfectly on the bread board and contains all the header connectors for SPI, I2C and UART. It's obvious this product went thru extensive thought, design and testing iterations. The result is near perfection. I highly and unequivocally recommend purchasing the TOADSTOOL to everyone who bread boards their projects.
