Fits perfectly

For Yamaha PW-X and PW-X2 nylon gearwheel repair

The gear was a perfect press fit. No new gear noise when riding the bike. Runs very smooth and quiet. If he sold little tubes of Yamaha electric motor grease it would be one stop shopping

Awesome product!

It's a little bit tricky to set the battery size, but once you get the hang of the one button menu it's actually quite clever!
I got a huge replacement battery for a Yamaha equipped bike and this adapter is amazingly simple to get going with and the bike runs like it was new. Five batteries out of five from me!

PostNL, or the Nordic post system, screwed up the delivery but we sorted it out and great service from you to fix a replacement.

This is an amazing product , very nicely made , high quality......easy to install , I wish it had more programming options and the ability to have an ungoverned speed option to improve top speed for people who are looking for that in a bike, but maybe next version. Keep up the good work, if you could make a battery dongle for bosch system would be amazing also, I would buy a few

It works. Installing the syringe is a fiddly procedure, but it’s simple and it works. Most of the alternatives seem to be complicated things with motors and pumps, so I consider it a winner.

Took just one week to arrive in Arizona. Whoever is in charge of making sure the international mail takes forever is not doing their job.

These are fantastic. With a small enough tip, you can almost dispense one tiny sphere at a time. By far the best solution I've found for placing solder paste on supper tiny SMD pads.

I found once loaded this was very easy and natural to use, I was able to apply small amounts of paste (I used a chipquik T5 paste ) The instructions and videos are great, my only reason for not awarding 5 stars is that its quite fiddly to load the syringe and get the spring in the correct position - I think I will try adding a small washer as one of the other reviewers suggested, but its minor - its a great cost-effective solution for applying paste

The product works well and as described. I have successfully used it to add paste to several circuit boards. The only challenge is getting the spring on the syringe inserted properly without over stressing the lever arm. It takes a little practice, but otherwise, it works well.

Meanwhile i did about 10 board using the dispenser and it's amazing how precise i could put solder paste on 0.65 pitch pads - great deal to me - thx
two little things to mention:
- installing the syringe with the spring needs some training
- cleaning the needle after use is a must - tried to protect the tip by sticking it into rubber doesn't made it after 3 days storage
However this is more to make a better picture rather than pointing to disfunction or bad design - the product is absolute great!

A wonderful design!

I build amateur radio kits, and more and more of them are being made with surface-mount components. Some of them have a mixture of SMD and thru-hole components, and most of those pre-solder the surface-mounted parts to the board for you. But more and more often, these kits have fewer and fewer thru-hole parts and more SMD. I've had one kit that was about 85% SMD and have a new one that's nearly completely SMD. There's fewer and fewer that pre-mount the SMD components for you, so you need to develop the skills and get the tools to build these kits.

When I set up my workbench a few years back, I still had not done any SMD work, but I knew it was rapidly approaching. So I started acquiring the tools to work on these parts -- a hot-air pencil station, a programmable soldering hot plate, tweezers for holding the components, and a microscope so I could even SEE them. The old magnifier with a ring light around it on a spring arm just wasn't enough, and I hate those huge magnifiers that go on your face like glasses. So a fairly decent electronic microscope with an LED display helped immensely. But applying solder paste was a real issue.

If you don't use a stencil, you need to have some way of applying individual dots of paste to the board. Solder paste IS sold in little air-piston syringes for this purpose, but the plungers to squeeze it out onto the board are nearly universally uncomfortable to use, and most don't even hold in place in the syringe, so they're constantly dropping out when you set them down. Powered dispensers were expensive, powered by air compressors and vacuum pumps. But finally, someone came out with an electronic extruder that didn't use compressed air, it used a stepper motor and a microcontroller. It works very well, but it's really a pain to load and clean up when you're done for a while, and can be very wasteful of solder paste. It's a shame to have to put it all together just for a few parts, or for a short period of assembly. If you have to assemble boards all day, it's perfect, but just for a couple of hours? Overkill.

So when I saw this on Tindie, I jumped at it! It's small enough that it's light and easy to use, holds just enough paste for a short session of kitbashing, and is easy to load and clean up afterwards. It's also very affordable! I just got it a couple of days ago, and put it together in anticipation of starting a new build, and I'm very excited at the simplicity of the design.

IF there's only a couple of nits I'd pick, add to the documentation that all those vertical spaces in the syringe clip are so you can fill the syringe with a fair bit of paste, and move it inward towards the back as you use it up. It isn't absolutely intuitive, and it looks like you're just supposed to snap it in place at the rearmost slot. I figured it out, but some might need a more explicit direction. Also, I'd add one more part: a small washer, to fit between the spring and the spot on the dispenser where the spring must press against. That'd make it easier to pull back so the syringe can be popped into place, and would keep the spring from pressing directly on the plastic, maybe damaging it over time. I plan to do that with mine.

But other than that, it looks like a fantastic tool, and I plan to use it soon, now that the heatwave seems to be breaking here and I feel more amenable to working with things that melt metal.

Great Item but the Packaging Let it Down

Good item and good documentation but the packaging is probably the worse I've even seen from an ESD point of view. The item was wrapped in foil then taped down onto some cardboard. Coming from a professional electronics background I would prefer to see either the cheapest pink esd bag or even the global standard metalized esd bags.

Small is beautiful, SAM15x15 is very beautiful !

Easy to use, just have to build a small USB adapter, quite easy.

And to me, it's a good idea to not have the USB connector, it save place and let you choice for which USB connector you want, in case you want.

Extremely easy to use with arduino IDE, works like a charm, you'll need some skill to solder to your pcb but hey, you have seen the pictures right? I used the 15x15 configuration that I obtained by sanding away the larger part of the board that was shipped to me, that operation didnt damage the chip and/or the connections integrity. Very satisfied!

Beautiful board, however.....

Albert did a _really_ nice job designing the SAM 15 X 15 board, but it gets messy from there. The documentation is all over the place on his website. It's not obvious which libraries one needs to get the board up and running. He has one large zip file that has all the "needed" libraries in it but many of libraries are by other vendors, and doing a straight copy overwrites what my be important without knowing it until later on. It would be nice if he spent the time to put all the examples strewn around his website into an example folder. Doubly nice if he spent the time put all his libraries in order per Arduino spec. There's a reason I love Paul's work on the Teensy, but truth be told if Albert can get the doc/libraries for the SAM 15 X 15 in order it's hard to beat for the size.
