Great cooling solution for my hot, whiny BRIX
For Gigabyte BRIX NUC cooling stand
Great, sturdy, quality product - packaged properly, shipped promptly, works as advertised.
Running Hyper-V VM's on my NUC made its fan whine all day. Gigabyte BRIX NUC cooling stand + a Noctua 120mm 5v USB fan resolved the issue for me.
10th gen Intel i7 CPU temp now sitting around 50° Celsius, smack-down middle to Tjmax. M.2 SSD running at 30°C, and 2.5inch SSD mounted to the side of the stand (I used double-sided tape) sits @ 25°C. (NUC running without bottom panel). I'm a very satisfied customer, great price for delivered quality, will recommend.
Wishlist for V2:
- Side mounting option for SSD (A 2.5 inch form factor SSD fits *exactly* between the "legs" of the stand, just needs something to screw it to)
- Multiple mounting points/heights for fan (closer to NUC if needed)
