Perfect for breadboarding

This thing saved my bacon more than a few times!

For Robot Manual Override

This makes it easy to switch between autonomous vehicle and fun RC car from the remote. That means I can test my vehicle without fear that it will just run off and crash. I put this on a Traxxas Slash and had no problems. I found out that even though there are only two controls on the transmitter, there are 3 channels on the transmitter and receiver. A quick added switch and I was able to change easily between Arduino control and RC control from the remote. Without this I would still be chasing after my runaway robot!

Excellent and affordable tool

For Turntable Strobe

The pocket strobe is a perfect tool to keep next to your turntable as a check of speed accuracy. The circuit design yield a much more precise means of verifying speed; versus the built-in strobes on some turntables. If your turntable does not have a built-in strobe, this strobe is essential if you are interested in speed accuracy. Highly recommended!

Great little device!

For Turntable Strobe

The Pocket Turntable Strobe is one of my best purchasing decisions that I have made in a long time.

I regularly set up and tune turntables with my part time job and having this strobe has really made my job easier...i.e., it's not always easy to find a fluorescent light when working on a table in a customers home.

I'm really glad that I saw the posting on the Audio Karma website and decided to purchase this little jewel.

Another thought....

For Turntable Strobe

If you should ever develop this idea farther, I would take this circuit and combine it with a normal white LED circuit and make a small, 2 or 3 AAA battery powered lamp that could sit to the edge of your turntable and be switched between strobe and steady illumination....

I know I'd be willing to buy one of those, too!

Excellent breakout for rapid prototyping

For ATtiny85 / ATtiny13 development board

I purchased both the ATtiny85 and ATtiny84 breakout from Bot Thoughts Store at Tindie and I am very happy! I use both of these tiny AVR chips in many of my robotics/electronics projects and having breakouts that fit directly into breadboard makes (re)programming and prototyping very easy. Soldering the kit together was simple (all SMD components are pre-populated, just need to attach DIP socket, headers and switch) and both work without problem. (I am using a USBtiny ISP programmer).

I think the advantage of the separate breakout for each tiny chip as opposed to more universal mega/tiny programmers is that you can (re)program the chips easily within your prototype. No need to remove it from breadboard!

It's a very good breakout board.
The price is very good too.
Italian people must be awaiting a lot of days (30-40).
However I think that this kind of product is worth waiting.

Nice Board

For ATtiny4313 development board

Good quality board, nice layout. I only wish the pads for the chip socket were a little larger. Also, rounded corners would be nice. It was a perfect no-jumper target board for programming a few ATTiny2313V's. I'd recommend this to anyone.

What I've been looking for. I like to write little things for Tiny's and this makes a lot of my work just go away. I can keep it plugged into my Arduino ISP programmer plugged in and just unplug it from the PCB to reprogram the chip... Cool.

Great Board

For ATtiny84 development board

If it were big enough to make the crystal an option. Many people use the Tiny's with the internal oscillator. This board makes the oscillator mandatory. This ties up two pins that might be otherwise be I/O and for my use relegates it to a programmer board for programming devices and recovering others that were programmed for a crystal oscillator. Not one of my favorite 84 breakout boards.

Deceptively simple

For 5V/3.3V USB Breadboard Power Adapter

This USB Breadboard power module is one of those things that seems so obvious and so simple that it's easy to overlook. But while it certainly is simple, apparently it's only obvious in retrospect because I've never seen anything like it.

Do you *need* it? Probably not, in the sense that you can get by without it, just as I've been doing. But people also got by before pencils had erasers, or plastic bags were resealable, or gas caps attached to the car with a cord so you can't leave it on top of the pump.

This really is like those things: It may not count as a major technological breakthrough, but then again, it's priced accordingly. And when it's doing its job you barely notice it -- unless you think back to all the hassle it has eliminated.

Sometimes you find something that's just so simple and obvious, it makes perfect sense. Michael's ATtiny breakout boards are just that. A single board to program and prototype with rather than swapping the uC between programming shield and breadboard. They are dead easy to assemble and come with everything you need (just add ATtiny!). It's a cliche, but you will want to collect the whole set.
