Numitron IV-9 Small but Interesting
For IV - 9 Numitron Tube Clock
I received my clock kit in the mail I am glad it was mailed in a Priority mailing box and I was happy to see all the parts where in a Anti static bag .
However I was not too Happy the The Tubes were Not covered with ANY protection at all that just tumble around inside the bag while being shipped . And the IC chips Were the same way NO Protection for them either And I received them with Bent up Pins ,Luckily I was able to straighten the pins out enough to install the IC's . And Luckily the tubes were not cracked ... I would hope to see better packing in the future .
As someone's luck might just run out and receive broken components in the order . I was going to purchase another Clock kit But I'm not sure I want to take that chance .... Not for the good stuff The clock is Small but it is Interesting to build I had no troubles following the Instructions
And after several days of looking at it I am enjoying the features of the clock kit .... It is a good Kit to buy and build ....
