Works great but not easy to solder

For 868Mhz 915Mhz wireless RF si4463 module DRF4463F

Tried it to replace the costly Zeta modules from RF Solutions, and they do great, with better performances, at half the price!
However the pinout is very fine and hand-soldering is not easy, but doable. I'm also not sure which chip revision is inside, it's not mentioned in the docs but it would be useful to know.

A library for easy use with Arduino and Raspberry Pi is available: ZetaRf - https://github.com/GIPdA/ZetaRF (disclaimer - I'm the author).
The lib allows for very low latency (~4ms @ 8 bytes packet) but several configurations are available and you can use you own. Also compatible with the 433MHz variants.

Best SX1262 module

Good product, Good support

For 433MHz sx1268 TCXO module DRF1268T

I would highly recommend these for any low power, low bit rate, long range communications.

I am using these radio modules in some remote weather stations. They seem to meet all of their specs. They reliably transmit across 20 km using 10 mW transmit power (-10 dBm)*. I have only deployed two modules so far and have had no issues.

Current consumption when in power saving receive (using SetReceiveDutyCycle command) is well below 1mA (my measurement setup only goes that low, and I measure all components together - this is good enough for me so I stopped investigating at that point).

I also ordered the evaluation board. That is well thought out and came with everything necessary, including an antenna.

When I enquired about the details of the design - in particular I wanted to know which TCXO the units use** - Mark from Dorji responded promptly with the datasheet.

The product shipped from China within two days, and arrived in my mailbox in California 2 weeks later.

* I'm not using the ISM band, I found a quiet band I could transmit on without worrying about interference. I would not count on that sort of performance if using unlicensed bands.

** An important parameter if using these in their power saving ReceiveDutyCycle mode is how long the TCXO takes to stabilise, because it's only turned on intermittently. The oscillators used in this device take 2 ms to stabilise (which seems good and quick, but I'm no RF engineer).

Nice little module working well so far.

Bought this for a RC project of mine, up and running quickly. Questions to seller about TCXO config were answered quickly. Delivery was a little slow compared to other stuff ordered from China. Overall very happy and will be buying more.

Easy to assemble.
The pins for the DRF1262T module were pre-tinned, so it was very easy to solder the module on the dev kit.

Simple module great price

For si7005Temperature & humidity sensor module DSTH01

You cant get the SI7005 any cheaper than this. The module works very well and is simple to interface to using a standard I2C protocol. Just follow the data sheet available on line.

Great product Highly Recommend it!

Easiest to use product, great configuration tool by DORJI, just one thing though, Ground the "EN" pin ( I soldered a wire between "GND" and "EN" pin and it works like a charm! ). I got the package on 14th day after ordering it which is pretty cool for overseas transport. Fabulous support from DORJI (I mistakenly ordered 433MHz, which is not ISM band in India, but the lovely people at Dorji_Com switched it to 868MHz as soon as I contacted them on the same day of ordering ). Great product for beginner, Highly recommend it!

Got > 500 metres range in a slightly hilly urban setting

For Arduino 433Mhz Lora SX1278 Module DRF1278F

Wrote some Python code to test the range. At max range settings (BW=125KHz, SF=12, CR=4/5), it takes less than a second to transmit 5 bytes.
One transmitter was placed indoors in my bedroom, and I took a drive with the other plugged into my laptop via the SPI bridge of a SEELablet.
About 500 metres LoS acc to google maps, but the signal had to go through a couple of walls at least. Will test in an open area when time permits.
RSSI at maximum distance was -127

Used the included spring antenna, and set transmit power to 17db. Not sure how to enable 20db, or if it was enabled at all . No significant heating observed, and current consumption is about 60mA .

* This is a P2P LoRA connection . Not to be confused with LoRaWAN. I haven't implemented that protocol, nor do I have access to a gateway here

It is a very good product, they dispatch the shipment immediately but it takes very long time for it to reach me. First time i ordered, it had taken 20 days for the shipping. It would be best if we have more options for shipping it faster.

This product come with a good packaging. Shipping at France is about two weeks.

Awesome communication modules, easy to work with.

I ordered two of those modules and ended up to receiving three plus the USB program tool. I'm very grateful. :D
No more than two weeks shipping time to Portugal and with no problems with customs.
It's the easiest thing to star working with this modules. Basically plug and play. Unfortunately, I'm still unable to connect them to Dorji's configuration tool. I think the software is still only for the 433Mhz modules.

Small board with good coverage & feature set.

For Extra low power sx1212 module-DRF1212D10

This board is small and packs a lot into it. It has great coverage and good thru put. The net-id is a great feature to have when you may be in proximity of others that you want to ignore. Good post-sales customer communication.

Good boards but "high power"?

I'm not sure how they measured high power or long distances; but these fell just a touch shy. I felt they were still rock solid boards & performed (as intended & price point) well.
These were ok at low power modes (sleep/rest) but I found I had to power them off & back up (and slight delay) to offset the battery drain as much as possible.
these worked well; farther than the other pair of ask transmitters of similar design.

For Arduino 433Mhz Lora SX1278 Module DRF1278F

Worked as specified. I have used them on our modular sensing system (called SnapSense).
These are 433Mhz boards and the sample code worked fine. They also worked with the radiohead library

Things to work on:
- The pitch of the pins are really for surface mount -- so quiet hard to hand solder -- especially with shaky hands.
- To make use of full range, you really need a antenna. A simple 50Ohm dipole wire will only give 1-2mile range.

Other than that, excellent and I would/will buy again.

Good distance, easy to use

So far I did a simple test using the antennas which came with the dongles. One device was inside the apartment (2nd floor, residential area - no high rise buildings around) and the other was in the car. Got reliable reception at a distance of a slightly more than 1km.

Easy to get going

These RF devices are long range supplier doesn't provide any test results but others using LoRa do.
Libelium have they are seeing 2Km in cites and 22Km line of site rural areas.
Some urban tests 1.5Km through 14 buildings that's impresive.
