I myself pondered about building an ATmega328-based computer. Should it be based on Arduino Uno? Should it have a display shield? Text or graphic? M5Stack CardKB Mini Keyboard? 9V battery powered or...?

Well, forget all that now that the Cobalt 3 is out. Single-board beauty, a truly autonomous and pocket-sized DIY feast.

It is true that its BASIC is nowhere near Microsoft BASIC, but hey, now it's your turn to breathe more life into this fine ATmega328 gadget, and its BASIC sketch is like a manual on how.

For KOKO, a retro game console kit DIY and hackable

If you have basic electronics/soldering skills, KOKO is very easy to assemble.

Either way, it's enjoyable to play with. Much recommended.

Great kit, fun project to put together and play around with

For Cobalt 3, a pocket computer DIY

Got this kit yesterday, and just had to put it together this morning. It's quite easy to solder together, the documentation is well written and it worked right on the first try. I was a tiny bit worried about the keyboard and all its solder points, but it came together super quickly.
I wish the BASIC on there could do a little more fun things, but that can probably still be extended. Either way, I'd totally buy it again 😍
