Bliplace v1.1: Sweet little kit!

The Bliplace was easy to assemble, the instructions were quite clear about the polarity of the various components. The soldering work needed a bit of attention but it was not particularly difficult. Took me about 30 minutes, including me checking with a magnifying glass to ensure I did not make any solder bridges.
After the "smoke test" I finished the kit, slipped in the supplied coin cell, and turned on some music. The lights merrily danced to the tune!
As a bonus, the assembled unit was just small enough to fit inside an over-large lattice-work locket I had laying around. I insulated the inside of the locket to protect the unit and inserted it. Looks splendid, with the flashing lights visible through the lattice.
