Great product for almost forgotten calculators....

I replaced two displays of calculators in my sharp/Tandy/Casio collection of BASIC prgrammable pocket calculators.
Both work well now - without this display they were unusable . Thanks a lot!!!

One thing: The video is great, but the hint with the polarizer which must be taken out comes very late... I was ready with everything, when I recognized that the display is very dark. So I watched the video to the end. One additional iteration for me ...

Excellent!

For LCD replacement for TRS-80 PC-1 / Sharp PC-1211

The screen was a very good replacement and the videos clearly explain its use. The only issue is with contrast setting: my unit was supposed to go on 6 V batteries (the original manual says so) since mercury batteries were uncommon in Italy at the time, this means that the new display is a bit too dark even with the trim disabled, it probably would work perfectly on 5,4 V, I will solve this issue adding a small resistor.
Anyway the replacement display is fantastic!

If an LCD for PC-1245 or PC-126x is also made, I definitely want to buy it.

I wanted to use the PC-1251 I used in the past again.
Only those with a damaged LCD were available.
I couldn't repair it until now, but I was able to repair it with this part.
I was very happy with the existence of this part.

For LCD replacement for TRS-80 PC-3 / Sharp PC-125x

I bought a replacement LCD for Sharp PC-125x. I was able to exchange according to the tutorial video. Since I didn't have acetone, I peeled off the bezel using stationery sticker spray for two days.
In the original state, the liquid crystal turned black, and the state of the machine could be checked only with the BEEP command, but it was completely restored. Thanks for making this product.

Fixed two PC1211s with these LCDs

I have successfully fixed two PC1211s with these LCDs. After a couple of false starts (putting zebra strips in the wrong way round) I managed to get two machines working with the new displays. They do seem to better than the old ones with respect to contrast. The installation is a bit involved, but definitely possible. Thanks Robert, excellent work.

The shipping was expensive to the UK (not Robert's fault), so I bought a few extras if there's anyone in the UK who wants to get them a bit cheaper.
