The best bivert chip for MGB out there
For Bivert PCB for Game Boy Pocket
I used to mod game boy and game boy pocket since 2015 so I passed through a plethora of bivert chip modification, from chip only to big and bulky ones. The opportunity for not passing a lot of cables through the MGB shell and pcb arrived with this amazing and tiny bivertion board, all is perfect on this module, and the installation is very simple indeed! You must cut the traces or lift the pin, this is your choice, but after that you just have to solder 6 points using Flux (very reccomended) or an hot air gun with liquid solder (simpler). The pads across the pins are chiseled for helping your solding tip to flow the solder in. You must pay attention when doing this procedure with the iron solder or you'll have to use the wick ( banned all the vacuum chamber desolderer or you risk to break the pocket's pins!!) To unbridge the pins, but after than that you can make this operation in about 5 minutes if you are used to the solder iron, less time if you use the hot air gun. I highly recommend the Hidarite bivert module for the pocket, this is a big step up on the gameboy pocket mod scene! Thank you Valentin!
