Best Flash Carts out there

These are one of the best flash carts you can find for GameBoy nowadays. The work that the seller does to mod an original cartridge into a flash one is indescribable. Apart from this it has a wide range of shells and stickers and has no problem loading custom roms. A good buy as always.

It works great!

This small device does what it promises: it's able to manipulate memory in a cartridge. In my use case, I was able to backup save data from ram, erase it, and then restore into a genuine Gameboy Color cartridge.

Product works exactly as advertised! Just make sure you're like me and read "GameBoy" to include "GameBoy Advance" as well, it's GameBoy only. That part works great. Even though I misread the description Javier had no issue accepting a return and refund ('cause I need GBA as well), so customer service is also great! I had only a few minutes of hands-on experience, but it read my GB cartridge no issue.

First off Javier is excellent! He was super helpful and answered all of my questions (with great detail) before ordering to ensure I got exactly what I needed/wanted. He went above and beyond with his help actually! The product shipped super quickly and I was surprised by how quickly it arrived, being I'm in the states.

Now on to the flash cart! This thing is killer! Even right down to the hand-wired connections he soldered. Super clean, absolute perfection! If you're on the fence about ordering one of these or doing business here please don't hesitate to order! You won't be disappointed!

Great Build Quality!

The build of this cart is great and it works great! the spanish and swedish post service is terribly slow at the moment (covid) but it eventually turned up to great personal joy <3

will be buying more flash carts eventually :-)

Flasher the works great! The only thing i would nitpick is that the software (which is an old source code from 2008) is hit or miss when it comes getting it to work on Linux. it would be great to see a upgrade.

A Streamlined Solution

For Bivert Module for Nintendo Game Boy Pocket

The new and improved flex ribbon version is wonderful. It feels really exact and there's no doubt on if you made a solid connection. To me this seemed like an easier install when compared to previous design which felt a little tricky when soldering to the capacitor. Shipping was honestly amazing, even though I live in another country it was very timely.
The developer has done an amazing job on improving what was already a pretty great design, and I'm thrilled they are still developing and creating new things!

Great!

For Bivert Module for Nintendo Game Boy Pocket

More difficult to handle (it's smaller and thinner), but easier to solder than a normal Bivert module. Since it is quite flexible it allows you to press a bit so the solder runs through easily.

I highly recommend to pre-tin the module and then just align it with some capton tape. You only need to do slight presure on the pads to make an effective solder.

The performance is just great, works as expected.

Hats off to J. Rodrigo for desingning this.

Very reliable cartridge

For Flash Cartridge ROM 2MB @ FRAM 32KB for GameBoy

I've got a few other carts I used before trying to flash to this one. All of them would only allow me to play for about 10 minutes before my gbc froze. Sometimes the game wouldn't even load, but this flash cartridge is perfect. This is the one cart that was actually able to load an image I modified from pret/pokered (github) and it plays fine without any issues, including slowdowns or distorted music playback. Thank you for making this cart J. Rodrigo.

Great Product & Great Customer Service

I ordered this cartridge in order to potentially make the most out of my Crystal Clear save file and the product works exactly as expected. It functions effortlessly when played on a GBA SP, and the cartridge is also compatible with Nintendo 64's Transfer Pak, allowing for the convenient exchange of Mons and items between Crystal Clear and Pokémon Stadium 2, greatly simplifying team building and the like. Communicating with J. Rodrigo was very smooth and he was nothing short of professional and incredibly helpful when it came to the specifics of my order. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the service he has provided and I'd highly recommend this to anyone else still very passionate about training Pokémon for Stadium 2 or just looking to conveniently play their romhacks on the go.

Flawless GBP/GBC cable

The ordered cable for Gameboy Pocket / Color works perfectly and is a good alternative way of playing without the need of batteries (at home).
The cable is a bit short for what I expected (I did not read the description of its length, so it was my fault in first place), otherwise it is a great item. Shipping was fast and arrived in perfect condition. Thank you!

EDIT: a few days later my IPS screen(s) from an eBay retailer arrived and I can not stress enough HOW USEFUL this cable was while testing the "arrangement" of the screen! this way I did not have to close, put in and out batteries, and open the shell over and over again - just plug the cable into the motherboard and you can see and adjust the screen. I highly recommend this item for any retro mod.

Fantastic Quality

I wish I could add a picture to this review. I bought this so I could play Crystal Clear on my modded GBC. This cart was very well done and I couldn't be happier with it. Thoughts shell is clearly after market, it looks and feels great, not the cheap plastic you get with some other after market cart shells. I was able to flash the game onto this cart with great ease. I own a Flashboy Cyclone and it worked just fine with this cart. I also had plenty of questions for J, and he answered them all and quickly. He was a huge help with all my hardware and shipping concerns.

Fantastic flash cart and great customer service

For Pre-Modded Flash Cartridge with MBC3 + RTC (Timer)

I like others primarily bought this cart so I could have a cart with pokemon romhacks on it for use with the N64 Transfer pak and an authentic Pokemon Stadium 1/2 cart, and I can confirm this card is easily capable of doing it. The RTC works perfectly, and the creator was even nice enough to flash the cart with one of the roms for me and threw in a sticker specifically for the romhack. Very nice and much appreciated.

All I need to get now is a device to flash the cart with roms and memory files and with that all together this set-up ends up cheaper than an Everdrive with more functionality!

Also wanted to note shipping was very fast and I wasn't kept waiting long after ordering. Not only would I recommend this great product to others, I actually already have recommended it to a close friend.
