For Optically Isolated USB-FTDI Interface (OPTOUSB)
Worst design ever for the price that you pay, got one board of revision one with patches. Purchased expedited shipping, been shipped late. At least they replied, later, to my email. Link to documentation on their website does not work. Claim board works with either 3.3 V and 5 V. At 3.3 V current through diode is not enough.
Suggestion: stay away.

Marco, I am sorry for your experience. We ship as soon as possible but like other small makers we do builds and shipping in our spare time. We received your order on the 9th and shipped on the 14th. We did ship with the 2-3 day shipping as ordered.
I did not intend to send you a board with wires so that was definitely a mistake on my part. Again, sorry for that.
As to the 3.3V operation we tested the board with both options (3.3V and 5V) and should have listed this as a build option since there's no good value for the bias resistor that works for both 3.3V and 5V. The Tindie listing does indicate 5V but would certainly could have made it clearer. We updated our Wiki page to show 5V operation (and removed the 3.3V note). We plan on updating our page to make this an ordering option rather than assuming 5V operation.
If you are unhappy with the operation of the card, feel free to return them for a refund.
