No delivery update whatsoever

For LILYGO® TTGO T-PCIE ESP32-WROVER-B AXP192 Chip

I placed an order more than two weeks ago, and the only thing I'm receiving as a tracking number is a vague update saying it's shipped. That's it!

I contacted customer service a few times but didn't receive anything more than that. They don't even cancel my order.

Poor customer service.

Piece of cheap crap

For LILYGO® TTGO T-Watch-2020

WARNING: DO NOT PURCHASE

It took over an hour to figure out where the USB port was hidden.
It bricked after uploading half a dozen sketches
No support on their website.
Shipped default firmware not available in their library.

In the Arduino IDE the port lists as "dev/ttyUSBo". USBo? What noobs! Poor attention to detail! What else is messed in their code and hardware?

Purchase again? Hell no take them off Tindie.

Sorry for the inconvenience, thank you for your feedback, we have updated it.
Our products have firmware when they are shipped. When you connect the USB, it will start to run.
When you upload the program, please note that the power should be on , it will not be bricked. maybe you can try this .

Never recieved and very unhelpful support

For LILYGO® TTGO T-Display

The support responded, and always said they will resolve it.
They never did anything but say i should check again and contact my post office.
The post office only told me that they are the only ones that can do anything about it. So thats what i told them multiple times.
In the end they said i should apply for a refund, but that ship has sailed months ago.
Now that they got their money, and know i cant do anything about it, they dont even respond anymore.

If you need something only they can deliver, make sure to get a refund in time, dont wait out of courtesy, they will only thank you with empty promises.

unreliable seller- goods received -tracking number invalid

No goods where not received after 10 weeks. Tracking number seems to be invalid and is not trackable over tindie. Waiting for refund

It's an empty esp32 waiting for you to fill it up

I got it to learn how to program it. It is not a suitable project for an absolute beginner like me and the website documentation is a mess. So, sad to say but this is just a piece of junk for me until I go away somewhere else and become a reasonably proficient programmer. Then I might be able to sort through the chaos of the website documentation.

Quite a disastrous experience

Things that are bad:
- Quality
- Price to Quality
- Battery life
- handling

Pretty much everything is bad. I bought it because its cheap. But its a total waste of money. The quality is apalling.

death hardware, no working watch, no smartwatch function

For LILYGO® TTGO T-Watch-2020

LILYGO was not able to provide only one working watch example to start with a working and usable watch.
The examples only contain static (and cheated) pictures loaded to the screen and one demo with a item wheel with only WiFi setup 'is working' but not used.
There is not one simple example using the low power facilities, showing the correct time (i.e. NTP sync) and switching the display on and off. I estimate not a lot of clock faces or a large config interface on the watch screen, but the base functions in combination has to be implemented in a sketch. And where is the Smart function ? The Smartphone sync !
Btw, die display gets hot - so, the battery will be discharged fast if on. The watch is not water resistant, the knob is only a button, nothing with rotation, ...

Ordered two units with black bands

For LILYGO® TTGO T-Watch-2020

I got two units... With white bands.

I was notified of June 29/2020 and shipping status sat at labels printed until the evening of July 6.

This is not the first time I've ordered from China

An operation manual would be nice to get started even though I do intend to program it
