About

I am a semi-retired embedded systems programmer always looking for ways to simplify things. My goal has always been to offer products that are extremely easy to use. I believe if a product is too complicated, the customer will not be able to use the item to its full potential.
I mostly design standalone programmers where a computer is not needed, no usb drivers needed keeping things very simple.
The first programmer I designed was the Atmega Fuse Repair Programmer in 2008.
It was later copied and called the "Fuse Doctor" or some variation of that.
Every time I released an update with a new feature, the copied item would appear to have that same feature shortly afterwards.
I will always go out of my way to respond very quickly, answer any questions and offer support. If you buy a cheap cloned item from China, most times the seller knows nothing about the product he/she is selling and is incapable of offering any kind of support, or even answering simple questions.
Customer satisfaction has always been my priority. I have sold thousands of items on websites, ebay, etc. since 2009. I have only 100% positive reviews.

Perfect for bulk programming our ATTINY412 based product

For AVR UPDI Standalone Programmer

We build a product at a rate of 4000 per year. We moved from an ATTINY45 (ISP programming) to ATTINY412 (UPDI programming) microcontroller to save costs and a more reliable chip supply. Finding a fast way to program was not trivial. This UPDI programmer became our best option and has integrated well into a battery-powered standalone programmer. It takes under a second to program our chip. We power up the programmer as part of the PCB connection process using a credit card connector on our target PCB.

Programmer works great, support was incredible

For AT89LP Chip Copier/Duplicator ISP Programmer

The programmer works great and is going to make updating devices in the field a breeze.

Shipping was fast.

I had a few questions and seller replied very quickly and was very helpful.

The documentation is thorough and complete, although it could maybe benefit by a little reorganization or something. It had the information I needed, but it seemed like I had to bounce around a bit and kind of work for it a little. Also, the first time you use the programmer you will need to enter a password. The documentation mentions a password, but does not tell you how to get it. After consulting with the seller, it was hand-written on the plastic bag the programmer came in. The whole password thing could be spelled out a little more clearly.

Overall an excellent device, great service, and good documentation. I'm getting a couple more of these for our technicians.

Indispensable Product for Large-Scale Production

For UPDI AVRDx/Atmega/ATtiny Chip Copier Programmer

I purchased two of these programmers in the Fall of 2022, and they have been indispensable to our operation. We used them recently to flash code onto 1,000 controller boards and I was amazed at the ease of use and reliability. It really is as simple as "copy, write, write write..." Just connect to your "master" board, press the button on the programmer to copy the code (and, optionally, USERROW and EEPROM as well) from the target, then connect to your blank boards, press the button, and bam! Crank out as many as you need. Before, we were doing this manually, using either the Arduino IDE or PlatformIO, but with this solution you don't need a computer. Just a USB power source and a little time (loading is FAST!).

You know when you find one of those products that operate not only as they say they will, but also exactly like you always hoped they would? This is one of those products. If you're in the business of programming large batches of boards, this programmer is a must-have!

Great piece of kit.

For AVR UPDI Standalone Programmer

Good product, documentation and support. Easy to use -just follow the instructions. Was going to build my own, then realised the time expended wasn't worth the low cost of purchasing this programmer.
