Indispensable Product for Large-Scale Production
For UPDI AVRDx/Atmega/ATtiny Chip Copier Programmer
I purchased two of these programmers in the Fall of 2022, and they have been indispensable to our operation. We used them recently to flash code onto 1,000 controller boards and I was amazed at the ease of use and reliability. It really is as simple as "copy, write, write write..." Just connect to your "master" board, press the button on the programmer to copy the code (and, optionally, USERROW and EEPROM as well) from the target, then connect to your blank boards, press the button, and bam! Crank out as many as you need. Before, we were doing this manually, using either the Arduino IDE or PlatformIO, but with this solution you don't need a computer. Just a USB power source and a little time (loading is FAST!).
You know when you find one of those products that operate not only as they say they will, but also exactly like you always hoped they would? This is one of those products. If you're in the business of programming large batches of boards, this programmer is a must-have!
