Worked right out of the box
For Mixtile GENA
Connected GENA to power and connected it to iOS 8. Worked as expected.
GENA as shipped is a bare-bones satellite for an iOS device. It acts much like a "smart watch" with clock, calendar, camera remote, pedometer. I like the fact that it already knows how to talk to iOS - no configuration required.
I'm using it as a pocket watch for now so I don't have to pull out my phone to see what time it is.
iOS integration is automatic: GENA knows about iOS time, email, music, and camera.
Free shipping from Singapore was fast.
There is almost no documentation (that I have found so far).
