Almost perfect

For Pisugar S: Battery for Raspberry Pi zero

Everything works fine, charges super fast and lasts long, very easy way of using, cheap for what it is.

Issues I had:
Didn't find a 3D model for the PisugarS but I dmed the support and that got solved (If anyone has the same problem, u just have to use the Pisugar 2 one, its the same)
Had to pay for "Aduanas" I'm from spain and I had to paid 8 eur because of some infraction but its ok tbh.

Pros:
Everything, fast support, good quality, easy to use, works without any problems, everything is great except for the shipping, at least to my country.

Great product and superhelpful assistance

I knew the product to be one of the best battery for rPi zero out there and I recommend it
but I recommend even more the seller, there have a great support, and they were superhelpful when my package got (apparently) lost by immediately send me another pi sugar
I really recommend them :D

Affordable UPS but lacking 1 important feature.

-Product:
Affordable yet good enough. Comes with the protection circuits that a LIPO charger should have. Battery wire gauge is 20 AWG (Thank you for the information PiSugar Kitchen Support) connected via JST PH 2.0 header and you can power the pi via the 5V GPIO pins if you have no space. I wish the battery was just a bit smaller in terms of height and width as it covers the screw points, i.e. no way to mount anything below the battery (7 Inch LCD screen Type H). Glue used to glue the magnet to the battery is a bit weak as it has already started to peal a bit.

Does however have a potentially fatal flaw: It does not come with a battery level detection. There are no indicator lights for when the battery is low and there is no way to communicate to the pi over I2C to shutdown safely before the battery runs out. There is big potential for data loss as the power will just cut itself out. I am working on a fix by buying an ADC and reading the voltage between the battery to tell the pi to perform a safe shutdown.

-Shipping:
Not fast but not slow either, not much to comment on shipping.

-Documentation:
Documentation is very thorough on their github page. It is however lacking a fully dimensioned cad drawing and the recommended wire gauge for an extension cable for the battery.

-Communication:
Very fast communication, I got the wire gauge information from asking their support team as well as to check if there was any battery level indicator (which there wasn't). They also clarified why there was no tracking early on in the shipping (Was still in China getting to the warehouse).

Overall: Good product, but might need to buy your own ADC for the pi to check on the power. Overall cost would still a lot cheaper than the Pi Sugar 2 Pro.

Working as it should

For Pwnagotchi Complete Pack - pi0w-eink-battery-case

Product came a week plus after order. Came with corrupted FAT2 partition so I redid the whole installation. Luckily seller left pisugar, epaper and bash_history in the sdcard. I really appreciate it! Things would have been easier if you link a .img on your selling page as well. I will definitely be ordering more! Thank you!

3D printed case missing + Waveshare V3

For Pwnagotchi Complete Pack - pi0w-eink-battery-case

I just recived the order.
Inside is just the battery, eink Waveshare V3, and SD card.
The SD card is already Pre programmed and works well with the V3 version of the screen when connected to PiZero.

The 3D printed case was missing in my package for some reason.
But the customer support team is great and the issue got resolved quickly.

Shipping to Germany took around 3 weeks which is acceptable knowing that it is shipped form China in the X-mas period.

If you need the parts to complete a Pwnagotchi build this can be the place to order.

At least provide an extension if you're going to use a header that doesn't fit standard breadboard cables.

Reliable battery power for your Pi

For Pisugar 2 Plus: Battery for Raspberry Pi 3B/3B+/4B

Worked great for me. Pretty simple to set up the software and to physically attach the unit to the Pi. I like that you can easily swap out the battery for a bigger or smaller capacity one, or if the original fails. The unit supplies plenty of power - enough for a small 4 inch display, a fan on 5v and a couple of usb peripherals including an SSD. I only have one negative on this product and it was for a very specific use scenario (some of the PiSugar software can conflict with other programs making some of the functionality of the PiSugar, unavailable). Overall though, decent product.

PiSugar3 - Works Great!

For Pisugar 3: Battery for Raspberry Pi zero

Arrived in US in ~3 weeks, as expected, very well packaged and intact. Easy hardware and software install, up and running in minutes. Running a RPi Zero 2W with 1.3" TFT display, interfaced with a Ham radio as a DigiPi, I see power ticking down at about 10% per hour. An excellent bit of technology!

As requested and delivered

For Pwnagotchi Complete Pack - pi0w-eink-battery-case

It took about 4 weeks to arrive in the EU.
It was completely as discribed.

Assembly is fairly easy, without instructions.

Only thing I can note, is that I got 2 backpanes instead of a front and backpanes. That is somewhat disappointing.

Battery is tested and of good quality, also the SD card provided is decent.

I would recommend, just verify the panes....

Low profile, perfect for what I need

I'm making a handheld and all batteries are too high profile to fit into my case, I thought I was going to have to design one myself and maybe blow up a few batteries but this came to the rescue. I love the design of it being on the bottom so its fine with another hat on top for other purposes. Also nice that the battery isn't permanantly stuck to the bottom so I can make it even thinner if I want.

LOVE IT!!!! (โ—”โ—กโ—”)

Arrived wonderfully packaged in a nice hard plastic case. Shipping to Eastern USA took about two weeks or so, but I can't fault them for free shipping from China. There's essentially no documentation, but as others have said, if you bought this in the first place you likely have some idea what you are doing. Otherwise, there's more than enough documentation online to work out anything you are unsure about. My device arrived already assembled and the software already installed and ready to go. Flipped the switch and it booted up and immediately got to work pwning networks! The included accessories are also a nice bonus! Mine came with the pizero and pisugar2 already assembled in the 3d-printed case, a microsd reader, a microHDMI adapter, a usb otg adapter, some jumper wires, and some screws and posts (presumably in case you want to use the piSugar2 battery outside of the 3d-printed case) They even included a bonus santa hat that is really cute.

Honestly I enjoy building things from scratch and had planned on purchasing the parts separately and assembling my own Pwnagotchi, but this was a better deal than buying them all separately and all the included extras made it an instant buy for me. I was not disappointed!!

Great product in a small format

I purchase this product for my rasp pi zero, and it was amazing, the package was well sealed and protected. The battery last with full charge at least 4hrs. I can't wait to try to use some wireless recharging tool or something similar.

Great device for those portable applications you create

For Pisugar: Battery for Raspberry Pi zero

This power source is a perfect creation that has enable me to create so many standalone projects in a compact form factor. It is sleekly designed to only add 1cm or so of height to any Pi Zero board stack that you are creating. It has powered all of my applications for just over 4 hours, and recharges very quickly. The power button is designed nicely to quickly cut power with a simple double click, and is easily depressed with a smartly designed 3D printed enclosure. I wish the supply was higher so you could get them more quickly, but I am glad I can get them at all, worth the wait.

A very neat product, even if it took a while to get here!

A great solution for powering a Raspberry Pi and really simple to get working - literally just screw it on to the Pi and flip the switch. Works great with a Pwnagotchi and there are plugins on Github for reporting battery levels etc on screen.

Took a long time to arrive in the UK (2+ months), but understandable given the pandemic. The seller was quick to ship it out and kept in contact throughout to check on the package's progress. Overall very happy!

Plug and Pwn

High quality item. The 3D printed case is a good resolution and doesn't have any finishing flaws. The screen plugged in directly to the Raspberry Pi headers. 32 GB SD was preloaded and booted up to start eating handshakes. Easy to see the battery life through the case and you can also see if the Raspiberry Pi is powered on. No instructions but if you're buying this, you outta be able to figure it out.

Item was well packaged.

Perfect Form Factor, Lovely Case

For Pisugar: Battery for Raspberry Pi zero

Very happy with this, it's a snug fit - doesn't take up any more space than it has to. Ideal for the little remote control gadget I made with it (a TouchPhat on top).

Package was sent very securely in two sturdy reusable plastic boxes (thanks for those - an added bonus), and presented very well.

It was a buzz putting it together in the very well printed white case. Will be buying more :)

Long shipping times, but great product!

I took a fair bit of time to arrive, but when it arrived I was impressed by the quality of the build and by the care that went into the construction and the shipping. The included PiSugar battery pack was already installed and hooked up to the buttons, and the epaper hat was well protected in the box it was shipped in. The whole thing even arrived in a good plastic enclosure box that will be useful for desk organization. The epaper hat fits securely into the Pi with the case lid on top. All in all, it is a fantastic little box that I am greatly looking forward to using for my own personal projects, though I'll probably hold onto the included Pwnagotchi SD card as it looks pretty fun, too.
