I have built a few reef pi's from scratch. Never again. So much easier to plug in then sadder wires and troubleshoot what I connected incorrectly. What great work, thanks ML

Excellent product and addition to Reef-Pi

My first version of Reef-Pi, I did the wiring myself for temp probes and power control relays. I wouldn't want to go down that path again. Though it was good experience on soldering and learning overall. For my version 2 of my deployment, I have implemented it with the ML reef-pi hat goby and pH board as well, and while the documentation wasn't perfectly detailed, Michael Lane was SUPER helpful and responsive, and I was able to get it all working pretty quickly. Plans to add on lighting, ATO and dosing as well. This would have been difficult if not impossible if I had continued to work on things myself without this board.

Works great!

I love this thing! It helps a ton with connecting things to the reef-pi.

The only thing I would suggest needs improving is the documentation. There are no instructions hardly at all, leaving the user to figure it out as he goes. Which is fine by me, but it sure would of been nice to have some documentation.

A great fit for my pi and no-name black box!

For PWM Converter for Mars Aqua

I bought this thinking my black box needed the analog conversion, but it wasn't really working right (at about 15% dimming in reef-pi the light just went full-bright, no brightness change the rest of the way to 100%). I messaged Michael on R2R to ask about it and he suggested the light might be expecting the PWM signal directly (no analog conversion). Awesomely, he suggested an alternate wiring so the Mars Aqua adapter is still providing the ground, the v+, and the on/off signal, but the PWM is coming straight from the goby HAT and it's great!

A great fit for my pi 4!

For ML reef-pi hat goby

With a little trimming, this fit the canakit's case for the pi4 (the lid doesn't fit, obviously). So far, this is great for my reef-pi. I gave 4 stars for documentation because there are some things that are different (usually simpler) than the adafruit guides and it's not always obvious what the distinctions are. Also, some of the documentation is accurate, but difficult for us non-hardware guys to know about (eg 1w vs 3v3 on the temp probes)

Very happy customer, just giving the best feedback I can.
