Good easy build kit - not quite the precision I wanted
For Frequency Counter DIY Kit w/LCD 10Hz-250MHz
I enjoyed building this kit. The instructions are quite sparse and there is a mistake in them - 10k and 100k trimmer pots are swapped in the parts list (but are right on the diagram).I actually installed the oscillator the wrong way around and fried it on my first go - but that was my fault. You have to be careful where the dot is on the circuit diagram (writing on the crystal will be upside down with respect to the board on a correct install)
Again - not quite the precision I was after - which is 1 KHz on the Mhz range - but I should have read the specs more closely so my fault again.

The accuracy is 1% or better, depend also on sampling period settings 1000ms/100ms
