I used it to power the example cam server on an ESP32-CAM board (wireless connection). For some reason I am picking up random interference on the video when its plugged into the LiFePO4 battery pack that I don't see when using the USB power from my desktop. I am happy with concept here...I just need to figure out where this interference is coming from.

Hi John,

Thanks for the feedback. Do you have plenty of decoupling capacitance on the power supply? Usually a large value bulk cap and some smaller 0.1uF and 1nF in parallel right by the power supply pins is a good way to cover all frequencies. The bulk cap (try 100uF) may be needed to absorb the instantaneous current demands.
Also, the ESP32-CAM is powered with 5V through the voltage regulator when plugged into USB. If you connect the LiFePO4wered/USB, it will only provide 3.2V battery voltage, and if this goes through a linear regulator, it's unlikely the system gets the required voltage. The LiFePO4wered/USB works best when powering 3V circuits directly without regulator.

Good product bad support

Very satisfied with the product which works as described. However, upon reconnecting the Sense HAT it burnt it. I contacted support to ask whether this is a known behaviour. Never received a response.

Base behavior a little weird, mechanical support not great

Without the drivers installed, the base behavior of the addon board is a little weird -- literally no way to turn off the pi without the drivers installed. Additionally, the mechanical support of the addon board is very poor. It feels like the control board might easily break, and there's limited support for the battery enclosure to be anchored to the pi. Overall, though, it gets the job done, given you provide some form of additional mechanical support for the addon around the pi it's attached to (ie: the LiFePO4 Pi case).

Great UPS solution

Using it as a UPS on my Pi3 and it was a breeze to set up and it offers great backup for a system that should have resilience against flakey power

Great concept, but not beefy enough for Pi3

For LiFePO4wered/Pi

Was going to use it on an ADS-B setup that I have running on a Pi Model 3 but it's not powerful enough to charge and run the Pi at the same time and then not useful as a UPS.
