I don't have an SH-101, but a Sequential Pro One, and this thing works like plug and play. It doesn't fail on the USB, like EVER. In this day and age it's so easy to have USB fails with MIDI but at least you can count on this one. Also, the pitch is accurate. Maybe the thing I would of loved is more MIDI controls, like to have a way to pitch bend or do tremolo, control amplitude, etc... U know... But for triggering notes, it's all good.
