Great keyboard!!

I was surprised by how well thought out and documented this keyboard is. Works great! Build quality and battery life is good. Shipping was super fast to Canada. This product worked better than expected, and I'm glad I purchased 2 when I did before they sold out. I'm using one to control my computer that's hooked to my TV. Instead of using a keyboard and mouse on a table that takes up a lot of space, I can sit back on the couch and use this Bluetooth BB keyboard as my remote with one hand. Such a cool product!! It makes me miss my Blackberry.

I purchased two keyboards. I received one working unit and one broken unit. I contacted the Seller who responded very slowly in an intermittent back-and-forth over the course of a MONTH, explaining more or less that this just happens sometimes. They were unwilling to replace the broken unit, claiming instead that they would record a video explaining how I could fix it myself. However, the Seller then just ghosted me completely. After trying for several weeks to get a response, I contacted Tindie with screenshots of the conversation and got a refund.

The design is great and Zitao gave a lot of thought and inspiration in this project. The additional USB ports, the HDMI out, the swapable batteries, the function that you can use it as an external keyboard to other computers and that you can even change the RPi2W, show that this thing is made to last and used in many cases/situations.

The only thing i didn't like, is that the battery and Raspberry holders/caps are rattling, but overall the 3D print, is good. Also a leaflet with some documentation would be nice, although anything you need can be found here or at the Github page.

Shipping was fast and as described in the product page. DHL tracking is very good and the package was with out a scratch, when received.

Very cool device and for sure i will enjoy using it! I will definitely suggest this products to others.

The keyboard has exceeded my expectations.

The keypress feel is so satisfying that it doubles the joy of typing. Honestly, I can't understand why BlackBerry went out of business.
As for the track mouse, I didn't have high hopes, but it works smoothly and naturally, making it easy to use.

As for the arrow keys on Layer 3, I think it is better to position them as WASD, which is commonly used for movement in Minecraft and other shooting games. Those keys are typically mapped for forward, backward, left, and right in gaming.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this product.

Reviewing with it. The keyboard is enough to make quick things, and is very light. I plan to customize it in the near future.
Also I had a few issues with my local mailing agency. but the way the keyboard was sent actually helped me.

Next time I might order printed PCBs myself tho.

The best cyberdeck I ever had

This a great cyberdeck hands down the amount of work that went into this is phenomenal. The formfactor is amazing pretty much the size of a phone. All I got say is that this is a really great device.

Exceeded my expectations

Took way too long to ship but once shipped, package arrived quickly. The description said it may have some scratches but it looks brand new. Case looks and feels very durable and tolerances are perfect. I would be proud if I made a product like that. Time will tell if it holds up, but I'm sure it will. Overall 10/10. Maybe for the future updates the case could be slimmer to match most phones, besides that it's perfect !

Been looking for this type of keyboard for a long time

I use AR glasses (xreal) to write code and the input method always was an issue; this is a great keyboard for that as it has the trackpad as well.

Great keyboard solution in 2024

It feels amazing to be typing on a BB Classic keyboard again, but without being stuck to a decade-old OS with ever so limited app support. The trackpad is huge icing on the cake, as it greatly minimizes the times when you need to change your hand position. Every part of the screen is suddenly so reachable. Everything is so tactile. I recommend flashing the BlueBerry firmware to it.
All you need to keep this thing attached to your phone is a pill-shaped popsocket and a set of rectangular metal plates, both of which are readily available. And don't forget the BL-5B battery, which can be recharged via the USB-C port of the keyboard module so you don't need to remove it.

At this point, there is no better solution for a physical keyboard experience than this module, especially for Android phones .

Very nicely made

I had been eyeing these items since before the BLE version came out, and once I saw that version just had to go for it. Picked up a few since I know former RIM people and wanted to gift a couple. In the few short hours I've had it, I love this little thing. Everything being open on GitHub was a huge draw for me as well so I can tweak it should I want to. Really well thought out design.

My only beef is with the shipping company, as I was a bit worried when it arrived looking like a truck had driven over the package. Fortunately the contents were spared of any damage, but I feel like I was lucky mostly?
