This circuit board is a replacement for the Commodore Vic 20 shortboard. I purchased the board to replace a Vic 20 board that I had a capacitor rupture on, and the board was not salvageable. I have started populating the board with components and sockets and expect to have it complete in the next week. This is a great purchase for anyone refurbishing an old Vic 20.

Got another C64 board today - as always in perfect quality. But I'm very disappointed of the shipping costs. $17 to Germany is a lot and I had to pay additional 12,41€ customs/import duty fee to DHL. Never had to pay that before... even after Brexit.

Good board, just one issue found.

For Amstrad CPC6128 Replica PCB

Assembled board and got running using donor keyboard from later CPC 464 cost down that had blown ASIC gate array. Everything worked except
the DEL key. Tracked it down to pin 1 on CP102 (righthand side) keyboard connector not being connected. Put a link wire from pin 1 to pin 9 on CP102
as per later CPC 464 boards and DEL key now works.

Brilliant!! love it

For Acorn BBC Model B Issue 7 PCB Replica

Well I was so excited that Bob had done this, I have always wanted to have a go a building a computer from scratch and the BBC B will always be my favourite. Well this week I finished it and it worked perfectly.

There are a few tips though worth mentioning. Ideally you need a donor computer. Some ICs you just cant get such as the video ULA, also its almost impossible to obtain the correct relay and some of the DIN sockets. Also if you go for IDC Box connectors with clips make sure they are the smaller clips else it won't fit in the case (I had to remove some off mine, and then used non clipping idc for the rest. With the ULA there s a small mod you have to do if its the VC2023. also if you have a donor machine then there is a god chance that all the jumpers will be in the right position and you can copy that as a starter! Great board hard finding all the parts but got there...

For Amstrad CPC6128 Replica PCB

Took me forever to get all the components together and soldered but they came in...
The board is nice to work with and is quality made great buy..
The BOM specifies parts and replacements theirs only one gotcha if your not familiar with the the HAL 16L8ACN (IC118) ..He recommends as an alternative the 556-AF16V8B15PU but you cannot just use this chip you need to program it with the CPC6128.JED (found here https://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/File:CPC6128.JED ) file you need for it to emulate the Hal chip.. I used a T48 eprom programmer to program it..
There should be some reference to this in the BOM excel spread sheet..
That jed file is for the Pal version not sure if you need one for the NTSC version..
Other than that this is a great board thanks Again!

I am very happy with the board. I plan to build a new C64 with available new replacement chips. My original C64, purchased in 1983, is still working, and I was going to transfer the MOS chips to the new board, but decided to build a complete new C64 instead. The SixtyClone board quality is fantastic and the labeling makes it easy to populate.

The board is of a high quality and is appears in every way to be an exact match to the donor boards I have. For years I have harbored plans for a replica or reproduction of the Venerable Beeb and now here is the perfect enabler. Over the years I have accumulated a number of second hand BBC's all have exhibited one issue or another at various intervals. Now I have an opportunity to assemble one from the ground up - could never have hoped to do so before this replica BBC. Thank's a mill.

What a wonderful avocation

For "SixtyClone" Commodore 64 Replica PCBs

I received my sixty clone (with resistors & electrolytics) a month or two ago and using the BOM sent away for many of the parts from various sources. I've started more recently to assemble this, a "winter project" and it has been very enjoyable. taking my time, being very slow and deliberate. Having few non functional C64 motherboards (various types) to draw from for more difficult to obtain parts will be most helpful. As I go along, I look at improvements like Jiffy Dos and the upcoming VICII FPGA (https://accentual.com/vicii-kawari/) which I'm very hopeful of. PAL or NTSC? How about both and more? Build your own computer from scratch and make it very cool...

A500++ Project - Pure Retro-Tech hit!

First purchase on Tindie - Just ordered the black A500++ replica PCB, and I can say that I'm impressed by:

1. The speed of the shipping
2. The Quality and finish of the PCB
3. Quality Silkscreen
4. Price - For a large PCB it is good value [previous experience with PCB design and manufacture has proven to be expensive in the past!]

If fact, its ALMOST a shame to solder onto it and not frame it!

Ok, so that's enough smoke blowing - I learnt of this boards existence from the YouTube "RMC" channel - This guy sold it to me.

I found the BOM, got the YouTube links, now unless I'm missing something, that's all I have got - Still "something" is better than nothing.

Waiting for my donor to arrive to commence work.

I bought one of Rob’s excellent SixtyClone boards, the 250466 specifically. Just finished constructing it last weekend, and fired up on the first try. Quality of these boards FAR surpasses that of the originals as one would expect, and I’m quite happy with it. Documentation is perhaps a little lacking, but with as much information out there on the web it shouldn’t be too difficult for most moderate to advanced hobbyists to knock one of these together. Just pay attention and use your best judgment sourcing components, and you should be golden. Quality of the included components in the resistor/capacitor kits is also quite good too I would add; I saw no reason to substitute anything for my build. Now I want to build the other revisions. :) -aphexteknol

Beautiful recreation

Ordered a purple 250466 pcb, absolutely beautiful recreation.
Arrived in a reasonable timeframe, think it was about 2 weeks or so to Australia.
With other reviews mentioning the packaging I was a little worried and it did come as they described but to my surprise (and relief) it arrived in perfect condition with so signs of being bent or anything like that.
Fully built now and working just like new. :)
Bonus case badge and rear sticker are a nice touch.
