Until this point I've had nothing but great experiences on Tindie so this was a very unusual experience. There are so many useful items and great projects you can support for $10 or less, making it extra upsetting that for $29 I received something so carelessly thrown together.

In the end I had to modify the parts in order to assemble this very basic kit.

I'd say this is at least a cool idea but I'm pretty sure NoodleVolt came up with a module like this first.... so if there's no idea and there's no execution, what are you actually paying for? The privilege of fixing someone else's project?

Very unfortunate to see your bad experience Paul. I've tried to do my best to help you and provided the immediate response to all of your enquires. You should understand when dealing with guitar pickups their tolerance varies from batch to batch. It was our fault that mounting holes are within 0.5mm offset from the pickup, very sorry about that and all new buyers are informed now. At the end of the day you didn't want to make the holes bigger :) and demanded the refund. We are small, we make it for fun and love all our customers. But can't stand amazon-like behavior, very sorry. If you needed the assembled product with no extra effort, you could buy one from NoodleVolt, I'm sure it's great and the cost of $120 is justified.

I am sure it's a good product, if you can get through...

For MIDI MERGER / SPLITTER 2in->5out Thru PCB or Kit

I am sure it's a good product, I ordered two kits, some of the IC's from the first kit didn't work, so I took chips from the second kit, I got it to work for a short time, but it eventually quit working. The main problem/gripe is that the tinde website wouldn't allow me to contact the seller "privilege restricted". So, if you are kinda new to DIY and might need tech support, I would suggest you go somewhere else, if you are more advanced and can trouble shoot go for it!!!

You're welcome to contact using Tindie (if it's a problem, then get support involved) or Github (where all schematics or source codes) or even a Youtube page (where tutorial videos are). Useless if not working

For MIDI Thru 2input -> 10out splitter PCB or a Kit

The board is not working. No instructions although it was easy to follow the photos online. No communication with the seller. Techy jargon I'm trying to follow just to pursue something creative otherwise.
