Je n'avais pas envie de me prendre la tête à faire le montage moi même. Cette version USB fonctionne au poil sur mon vieux Rpi 1 mis au placard électrique pour l'occasion.

Oui parfois pour le port série c'est un peu galère, surtout avec l'arrivée du PI V3

Excellent Produit

For PiTInfo

Acheté pour m'amuser avec mon Raspberry. Je l'ai branché sans problème.
Il fonctionne correctement avec les bons réglages pour le port série.
Il y a un fil dédié sur le blog de l'auteur (j'ai eu un problème de parité un peu similaire).

A l'aide d'un script PHP récupéré ailleurs, il est assez simple de lire sur le port série directement pour faire un programme spécifique à son propre usage.

Bravo et merci pour cet excellent composant.

Good product

For PiTInfo

I'm using this PiTInfo with Jeedom and works great :)

Fonctionne parfaitement sous Jeedom en remplacement de mon installation à base de breadboard toute moche :)
Le petit plus étant que tout rentre dans un boitier classique de Raspberry !
Bref vu le prix et la qualité du produit il n'y a pas de raison de se priver :)

Produit parfaitement fonctionnel et conforme à la description (j'ai un peu galéré a souder le connecteur - c'était ma première soudure - Du coup c'est pas joli mais le contact est là!). Je l'utilise sur un raspberry sous Jeedom avec le plugin teleinfo. Envoi rapide et soigné.

Great little PT100 board

For MAX31865 RTD temperature sensor breakout board

Using the board to measure temperature with PT100 or PT100 as required with various wire configurations. I liked it because it is very compact. I set it up for a 3 wire PT100.

Testing the board with a Teensy 3.2 worked right away with the serial example. The right temperature was shown, however the resistance shown was way off at 9252 Ohm and 26.0 C, which does not make any sense. According to a PT100 table the resistance shown should have been about 110 Ohm at 26 C.

Testing the board with the serial and display example also worked, however it showed the same resistance problem. This test was performed without a display just to see if the resistance shown would be different. It was not.

Testing the board with the read temperature sketch gave a different temperature result for some reason. The temperature was 7 C off. There are however less configurations in that sketch.

Definitely going to work with this board in the future and ordering some more, I am sure those minor issues can be sorted out.

Edit: Found the temperature problem on the read temperature sketch, the entry for the definition of the 390 Ohm resistor was missing.
Edit 2: Changed rtd.raw_resistance() to rtd.resistance() to get the correct resistance and temperature correlation > 110.15 Ohm = 26.08 deg C

Branché sauvagement sur mon compteur EDF, un raspi en Wifi et le fameux programme teleinfo envoie des données sur emoncms.
Résultat, j'ai un aperçu des pics de consommation, et c'est ce que je voulais.
Une doc "officielle" serait la bienvenue, imaginons une url dans l'enveloppe vers un pdf qui correspond à la version du montage ?
Emballage impeccable par ailleurs, et un mail très sympa dès mon achat.

Cheapest and smallest TeleInfo module ever, a bit fragile

For Micro Teleinfo V2.0

I bought 2 of these to monitor my electricity consumption and production (photovoltaic modules) in Domoticz on a Synology DS213j NAS (FTDI and USB Serial modules already provided in DSM 5.2, no need to recompile)
I used telephone wires to report the signal to my NAS - works fine.
I should have asked the welded model since I'm not very good at welding, but finally got away with it.
Then I stumbled upon a head-knocking problem : when used behind a high-speed USB (2.0) hub, the modules constantly get disconnected. I had to plug them directly to the NAS to have them working. The closest similar case I could find is this one :

Now I have to find and try an old 1.1 USB hub.
No documentation was provided but Charles' blog is a great source of knowledge and self-help.
Overall I'm happy with these very cheap modules, although they are so small that sometimes the contacts are a bit fragile.

Yes, you're right, under linux on most of the USB HUB, the adapter get disconnected, it's a problem I saw for years now, still not resolved. I wasn't aware that the problem does not exists on 1.1 USB Hub, good to know and thanks for the tip.

I'm trying to set the blog up to date as a documentation but as you can do lot of things and from lot of ways to achieve your needs, it's difficult to cover all cases.
