After a few months of patience, finally built!

As it was the first printed circuit board I've ever soldered, I read carefully all the documentation. Everything was perfectly explained, and the MIDI Switcher was really easy to build. No components missing. Time for some solenoid drumming!

Great little device! Saves hours setting up midi!

Thanks so much for making this thing. We used to spend an hour setting up midi sync and routing through a bunch of devices, and stuff would always break and it was a massive pain. But with the midihub, we just plug it in (and as long as everyone remembers midi cables), it just works!

Fun to build & play

For ARPIE - MIDI Arpeggiator Kit

I got the full kit + case, along with the amber LED option (looks great with the blue). The build was very straightforward, in no small part due to a well laid out board, and fantastic build instructions - seriously, every kit manufacturer should take some cues from the manual. I've built my share of circuits & kits, so I glossed over some of it, but I could see a novice successfully completing this kit by just methodically following the instructions.
Excellent work, and I'd love to see more kits from these folks!

Perfectly made and precision fit, though i did crack the top plates lower right hand corner- it does fit a little tight but all in all it is a great addition to make the arpie feel and look sturdier.

Great kit, big MIDI functionality

For ARPIE - MIDI Arpeggiator Kit

I'm delighted with my ARPIE kit. The board was laid out well for kit soldering and the documentation, especially at the online link was excellent. I'm delighted with the functionality it adds to synths without arpeggiators. It really breathes new life into budget synths as well as old faves like my MS-20.

I included the case in my purchase which turns the unit into a really nice piece of stage kit. (I published a 45 degree stand for the case at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2772521)

I'd really love to be able to use my MIDI foot pedal to change various functionality, most especially changing the output channel (letting me arpeggiate on different synths.) Seeing that some fantastic firmware upgrades have already occurred, I'm encouraged at the ongoing capabilities of this device.

Amazing little device! I love it!

This little leStrum is great, I use it all the time to inject some spontaneity into midi sequences.
Really fun and easy to use. Lots of options and modes so it never gets old.
I have bought several items from Hotchk155.
Such as,
The Arpie with the sync board, great with syncing timing with the volca series by Korg. Also sounds great with the LeStrum.
The Midi Hub, awesome at keeping odd midi devices in bpm sync and great for jam sessions.
And I just ordered the Bananna Split midi expander to send midi sequences to 6 separate devices all controlled from my Synthstrom Deluge.

Can’t say enough good things, makes my life a lot easier!

Plug and play still existst.

I use it to connect my modular to Ableton without wasting precious HP space. It worked perfectly and stays in time well. Havent tested all the options but I'm sure it is fine. Build quality also good!

Excellent upgrade from a fantastic developer. I had a couple of questions which were answered straight away.

I’ve got quite a complicated midi setup so being able to input notes without any need for an external input helps me greatly. Thanks Jason!

Very usable

For Relay Switcher : 8 Channel MIDI-to-relay module

Got three of these to to run CVs from ableton on moog mother32, Pitts Mod Sv1 and similar synths. Found unit really well built and solid and sysex configuration very flexible. Its designed to run four synths and a drum machine. Would be great if all the outputs could could run cv via cc messages, maybe the editor might be update to do this if the unit can physically do that? I duno? That said, it was the closest thing I could find to do the job, really we thought out product.

Very cool

Got this last year and have only just put it together. Very easy build and clear and simple instructions on the net and configuration easy. Have been wanting to control physical objects from ableton and didn't find much on the net. This device opens up a world of possibilities for someone with basic knowledge of electronics. Great to see someone making products that large manufactures won't.

Hooked up my Digitakt via this box to my Eurorack and wow, what a difference. Was expecting configuration to be quite confusing, but it's not too bad at all and the manual is very detailed. Love this thing. Shipping was quick and good communication too!

next level design

For LE STRUM - Hack-it-yourself model (PCB + PIC)

Echoing the other reviews here - I think this is the best midi-CV on the market; the size and cost are very welcome; build and aesthetic is nice; simple to use and very well thought out, the configuration options are super easy, flexible, and fast. (I had never used Sysex before but it turns out it's like a 2 mouse-clicks process.)

I would for sure buy a second one (if my system grows to need one).

The routing options (e.g. chord, cycle, gate options) are icing on the cake. A sincere thank you to Jason for making this -- it really opens up a ton of creative control that was till now untapped.

Very flexible piece of kit!

Love using it to intercept aftertouch and transmit a CV to my MS-20kit.
At present I have it controlling the CV and gate of three Monotribes in polychain mode.
It is a great part of an experimental synthesis diet!

The learning curve is fairly small, and you can fab up new experiments with
just zapping some new sysex code to the CV OCD, which makes it quite flexible.

Great communication. Was going on holidays and asked him to post when I got back which he did as promised.

Great board!!!!

I've got 2 of these to control some stage lighting. I couldn't use DMX control for these lights since they are all custom made using LED modules in different shapes, for example I have 4 LED strips on my keyboard stand. I also have fixtures with custom shapes around the stage.

MIDIHUB: '6-way MIDI Thru and metronome module' is a 1-input, 6-output, MIDI splitter with its own MIDI clock generator (~30-300 bpm). It's obvious use is as the master clock and hub for MIDI jams but it could also be used as a simple splitter for those with big set-ups and a need to cut down on latency. Three buttons; Play, Minus and Plus, with 6 leds allow MIDI clock start/stop and tempo control as well as some MIDI filtering and playback options for the leds. USB powered so it can be run off a rechargeable battery. Very good build quality for the price - under £50 delivered.

Great PCBs

The PCBs were of really good qualitiy. I'm impressed how robust the white silkscreen is. I had to re-work some buttons and it still looks good!
