Couldn't even open the device no matter how hard i tried
For T-Wristband DIY Programmable Smart Bracelet
Couldn't get it open to plug in the extension board for programming, which means it's effectively useless. I tried extremely hard, and followed the instructions on the store listing image which say to pull apart the two pieces from the top where the charger pins are. I also tried to carefully pry at the case with a screw driver and Ifixit spudger, however that didn't result in anything more than some scuffing on the plastic.
Further the device gets rather warm, and it doesn't seem like there's any way to turn it off completely, just some kind of standby mode
And the shipping took three weeks from China post.
EDIT: They have contacted me during their vacation and said they will send me a video when they come back of opening the case. So i have now updated my communication rating.
EDIT 2: They got back to me with the video, however it didn't help. I've tried using Ifixit prying tools to get it open, used my nails (and broke one), and tried to have someone else open it. It's not even showing any signs of opening. Their response is that they test their products, but in my case i got a $20 plastic paper weight. I'm just going to forget it at this point. Too much hassle, and it's probably not their fault. I won't be buying another Lilygo product however, and i honestly can't recommend buying one yourself in the case that this isn't a isolated issue.
