The radio works okay with some tinkering. The antenna, as others have said, doesn't have a large enough hole for the screw provided. Rather than enlarging the hole I used a #56 nut and bolt to hold it.
The say on all their documentation not to review until you contact them. I did so and waited a month with no reply.

There are design flaws. They say the display is blanked after 10 seconds to save power. It's actually because the display swamps the receiver with noise and makes it unpleasant while displaying.

It should remember the last station between uses but may come up on an adjacent station.

I bought it to listen to a single radio show at the same time every day. It works fine for that purpose.

Fun project, Not for beginners

For DIY Red LED Dot Matrix Clock SMD Soldering Kit

This is a fun SMD project, if a litte tedious. In the end, it works as described. As for instructions, unless you know Chinese, forget it. There is a list that tells you positions and values for everything in English (like R25 is 24ohms or C21 is 100uf), but everything else is Chinese. And the link to show you how to do it is a dude soldering something else, like a solder how-to video...in Chinese. And the link to instructions online are...in Chinese. But if you have experience with SMD, reading codes on components, and polarities of LEDs, this is a fun project.

Doesn't work for me

For Phone Signal Radiation Indicator DIY(5202)

Nice kit, although you need a fine soldering iron. Could do with instructions but a bit of googling and it was sorted. Didn't work though. Put it down to dodgy soldering, tested the components, eventually cut them all off and soldered without a board, still won't work. I can get a reading with a multimeter just not enough to light the LED.

Well take it to work and try it with a 3cm wave transmitter.

Great starter kit for SMT soldering practice.

For CD4060 SMD Music Fancy Lantern Suite DIY(10376)

This kit plays twinkle, twinkle, little star and flashes each color row separately to the music. Do not put the jumper shown in the image unless you want to disable the sound. Fun kit; not much to it, but it did give me a good go at SMT soldering. So much so, that I will not hesitate to go on to bigger projects like I had been. Single document is the schematic not much else needed since components are marked on board. 5V 160mA.

For Red Blue Flashing Light DIY Kit

I bought this kit for my sons to practice soldering. Loved every minute. Not complicated and just the right level of components that they do not get bored or overwhelmed. The light pads are detachable and you can wire them up separately from the board. My sons detached them and added them to their favorite toys.

Works But Not Much To It.

For DIY MultiFunction Electronic Clock Suite(5491)

Bought two had problems with one of the IC's. I decided that it was not to my advantage to try and get a replacement. ICStation was willing to help so I give them high marks for their communication. Very timely and personable. Basic clock. Fun to solder not much in the way of functions. Only black mark is the lack of documentation on programing it, but easy enough to figure out with trial and error.

The product works as expected.
Another alternative to the problematic FTDIs.
The 3.3V port is a little over (3.5V) which can be problematic with the ESP.
