Only solution out there

For Adafruit 0.56" 4-Digit 7-Segment Display Bezel

I searched long and hard for a display bezel for this LED display. This was the only one I found. Cuts are clean and it fits the display well. Screws provided were slightly too big and required drilling out the bezel and the screen PCB. Aesthetically, I think the bezel pieces are a little thick, but no big deal.

Nicely Done - Great Product

For Adafruit 0.56" 4-Digit 7-Segment Display Bezel

This item is exactly as illustrated and described on the product page. Line up with the LED backpack mounting holes was perfect and everything fit together nicely. The pictures only show four nuts provided, but I received eight and used the extra ones as locking nuts. The mounting bolts are a tight fit through the bezel holes and have to thread themselves through as you go, so take care to use a properly sized screwdriver to avoid stripping the heads of the bolts. The bolts are even a tighter fit through the Adafruit backpack mounting holes. I was able to get three of them threaded through the circuit board by taking it slow but the last bolt would not even start so I drilled that one backpack mounting hole just slightly larger. The only thing I see lacking on the website are physical dimensions. It would be nice to have a drawing available on PDF that provides physical dimensions of size, cut-outs, and mounting holes. Overall, very happy with the purchase and the product. I would not hesitate to purchase again. A well engineered solution to the problem of cleanly mounting a four digit LED segmented display.

Good but can be improved

For 16x2 LCD Bezel with Clear Backplate

The bezel fits perfectly. However, the material of back plate has exfoliating tendencies and the bezel is not painted as a strong grey color (a bit fade). The back plate gets too close to the I2C optional shield molex connector. Functionally receives the mark 9.5 out of 10. I'll buy more.

Excellent item to finish your project!

For 16x2 LCD Bezel with Clear Backplate

The workmanship is first class. You know how you put the icing to finish a cake and tie a ribbon to finish wrapping a package - this is what you need for your projects with LCD displays. Puts your item on the next level and makes that much difference! I did not need documentation and had no communication with the vendor. Item was packaged well and shipped fast. Protective film is left in place to prevent damage and fasteners were provided

Great bezel and exactly what I needed

For 20x4 LCD Bezel with Clear Backplate

This bezel is great, and allows you to cover up your imperfect rectangular hole. (they're never perfect!) If I could change one thing, I would decrease height of the bezel a bit. The width is perfect, just beyond the left/right edges of the LCD, but the height is probably 1/2 taller than needed. Regardless it looks great and I bought 3 for future projects.

Great job with this product, it makes my project look a lot more professional and more functional now that I can stand it at an angle. I love the quality and the packaging. I can see myself ordering more in the future.

Nice little bezel

For 20x4 LCD Bezel with Clear Backplate

I am designing an electrical box to control attic ventilation fans. The control is made by an embedded system and I wanted to connect a 20x4 display to it. I got the Sainsmart IIC 20x4 display for this from a local store. While I was careful with cutting an opening in my metal box, the lines were not perfectly straight and I wanted it to look professional. After some research online I realized I only have two options: buy this bezel or make one myself (there's actually an Instructables tutorial that teaches you how to make one). Given the time constrain, need for professional appearance and the decent price, I elected to buy this bezel. It turned out to be a nice little black bezel made out of two pieces: one black with a cutout and a full transparent one. It looks nice on my box and hides all the rough edges I made in the metal box. It fits perfectly with the display's screw holes. Will definitely consider again if I need a professional look, otherwise I would just do one myself and save the money.

Stand is well made & attractive. Thought full LCD would fit in cutout. Fast response to email clarified. A.simple instruction sheet would help newbies.
