Awesome to keep your Dualshock 4 controller running

Great little board to keep your PS4 controller running or even just to upgrade it. Works exactly as you expect it to.

My first board was faulty, but the seller quickly shipped me another and this new board works. If your having issues with your board go to the sellers Discord Server and Marius Heier will get back to you within a day. He is pretty good with responding. In addition, on the Discord server, there are others to help you set up your board if need be.

One issue that I have is documentation on the Tindie page should be updated. I had to go to the seller's Discord server to figure out which board my controller could support. They have a table outlining which one to get and it is very simple to follow, but that table is not on the Tindie page.

Besides that, If I ever get a new DS4 controller Ill buy another one ASAP.

A little bit fragile but it is solveable

This is an edited version of my review before this, my product has been shipped but the flex cable connector broke because maybe i'm dumb using too much force to the connector but this is where it gets better i tried to contact Mr. Marius by tindie and he will not reply you if you maybe just contact him via tindie i recommend if you dm Mr. Marius to get a replacement and get it reshipped to you but again this is a great product and Mr. Marius is a great seller just be polite and ethical he will reship your item free of charge you just have to pay the taxes. By the end of the day this is a great product and east installation. And if you have a problem with your product DM him by discord or join the discord server

Purchased this adapter before and was very impress with the quality and ease of use so I ordered 2 more! But unlike the product the service and communication is absolutely horrible. It's been 2 months since I last ordered and nothing has arrived. I've tried reaching out to Marius Heier on 4 DIFFRENT PLATFORMS to no avail and got no support or even a word! I'm In the process with getting a refund through PayPal because I can't even contact the creator to issue a refund! I was really holding out hope for you Marius because you've made such a great product but it's marred by your lack of communication.

*UPDATE: I apologize but it was legitimately frustrating trying to contact you to find a solution to this problem. I didn't know that this was a one man operation since it was never mentioned before but if I knew that prior I'd have more of an understanding of your situation. But still, if the only means of getting in contact with you is through a review then that is kind of an issue. Thank you for the refund, your adapter is still amazing and I still consider it one of the best mod for the DS4 controller.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I'm active on Discord most of the day and usually respond within minutes, except when I'm sleeping. I get tons of emails and DMs, so it can take longer to respond on other platforms.

For quicker resolutions, if you are not happy about the waiting time, you can always email Tindie support for a refund, which is typically handled within hours.

Since this review is anonymous, I can’t assist directly as I don't have any way of finding your order number. I'm happy to refund your purchase. However, negative reviews can deter other potential customers, which is frustrating when I’ve sold thousands of these boards with minimal issues.

Works perfectly

The installation processes took a bit of time but the product works as intended :D I even fixed an old Darth Vader ps4 controller that I wasn't able to use in years due to the original charging port always breaking on me however that all changes now going forward! Great product!

A Must For Every PS4 Controller!

It took two weeks to arrive! I was expecting to see it in late March, I wouldn't have minded paying a few dollars more for tracking.
The items arrived in perfect condition, and I was able to install them quickly in the controller; with help from my Dremel tool.
Both assembled controllers lit up and worked perfectly with the USB-C Cable! I would definitely buy more if needed.

Fantastic Product!

For USB-C for PS4 controller

I purchased 4x USB-C connectors in the beginning of June'23. The MicroUSB port of my controllers were starting to wear and I had to place the cable in awkward positions to get them to charge. I had more USB-C Cables laying around from other devices and this modification option just made sense! No soldering, no mess, no nonsense and honestly REAL quality work!

Shipping to my State in the USA took a while (approximately 60 days). I can't exactly say why that was, could have been a whole factor of reasons. Stock availability, shipping across the globe, getting lost in transit, getting through customs, etc etc. It's not Amazon, so I knew I had to be patient! Once they put it in the mail, it's out of the shop's control. All I did was reach out to Marius and he was willing to work with me. I wasn't worried and it paid off!

I got the package in the mail, quickly installed them and THEY ARE FANTASTIC! The modules are HIGH QUALITY stuff! You pick these up and you can DEFINITELY feel the superiority compared to the Sony originals. I'm really glad I waited rather than requesting a refund.

I waited about a week to post this review and everything has been ROCK SOLID. I have tried it with about 7 different cables (Anker, Samsung, Amazon Basics, etc) and different chargers. I couldn't be happier with this product!

PLEASE buy with confidence if you are looking to upgrade to this module! Be patient with the shipping. It is WORTH IT!

Ordered product for birthday very excited to mod several controllers in May waited the 45 days required by shop. And have never received Order its now July about to be August. Reached out to owner via tindie messenger to no avail. No response, no product VERY DISSAPPOINTING.

Product arrived today, 9/15/23. Glad Marius Heier got in touch 9 days after direct messaging him on tindie. 3 days later replacements shipment confirmation recieved via email. Now in hand, installed, and very happy with product. Shipping wasn't Marius' fault and I understand that. Very happy issue was resolved and excited for his future offering. THANKS AGAIN.

Ordered April 26th. Still no item

I ordered 3 boards on the 26th of April. I have yet to receive my purchase. I've messaged the seller twice on tindie and emailed him once. Still no reply, but he was active in twitter after I first messaged him. I really like his stance on these controllers but do far he hasn't delivered on my ordered and that upsets me. I was trying to support him and ehatvhes doing for ps4 controller owners but this is sad.
*Update* As of June 28, I have been reached out to and am having a new order sent to me. I understand how popular the store has become and I am waiting patiently for my new order to arrive. Once it arrives I will update the review accordingly. I hope it all works out. I have faith it will be great.
*Update 2* got and update that the new updated boards are shipping out. Waiting patiently and will update review when its here.
*Update 3* My boards arrived today(Sept 14, 2023). While the wait was very long, after communicating with Marius, I realise what happened. He has since updated his store and orders seem to be going out. Speaking about the actual product, the installation was a bit tough, I misjudged the angle that the port sits inside the controller so the filing down process took longer than it should. I should have bought a cheap set of plastic or metal files instead of using what I had on hand. Performance and usage wise, the boards are amazing. My wire doesn't flex at the connector anymore. USB-C is way more robust than micro. I recommend this mod and Marius if you prefer using your ps4 controllers over any other. this made me able to use my older controller that I couldn't use for over 2 years because the micro port died. I bought 3 boards and the next 2 installs should be a breeze now that I know what I'm doing. Thanks again Marius and hopefully those hall sticks are coming soon

very nice product

Easy to install, just follow the video.
It is larger than the original board, so it needs to be shaved to create space.
It's better to have a tool for that.

It took a month (Sweden → Japan) to arrive.
I was really looking forward to the product, so I was worried every day.
But the products are really great.

Thanks to great technology, my controller is no longer obsolete.

Simple, well-designed and works.

I upgraded three PS4 DS4 controllers with these little boards.
Other than a bit of Dremeling the case to accommodate the wider USB-C socket, this was as simple a change as imaginable.
Shipping was nothing out of the ordinary for regular international postal mail, but could feel slow to someone not accustomed to this.

Bought two USB C connectors

After my kid used a lot the micro usb they broke :( googling about how to resolve this, buying a new micro usb connector seems to be a good idea. BUT! I found this webpage and this person who sells these awesome connectors.

Shipping was fast and delivery too! :) Totally happy with it **HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS** , also the packaging is well done and the look and feel is really premium!.

I have only one concern, and that is related to the quality control on this boards. Sadly one of the connectors is not aligned properly and is not attached completely to the board, is not that it doesn't work! both worked perfectly but since one of the USB C connector was not aligned correctly, one of the screws got bad and it doesn't go tight as it should be. I had to use both connectors since my kids wanted to play as soon as possible.

Besides that all works as the previous connects. I totally recommend you buy a file that is thin to make the precise adjustments!,

totally recommended, but please better the quality control to make sure all the connectors get really well aligned and attached to the board.

*** UPDATE ***

After a year of use I can see no defects on the ports :) even one is not aliigned properly is not causing any faults. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

This Mod for the PS4 Controller is great. Exactly What i Needed for my Setup for My Electronics, Since i Use Mostly USB C Ports to charge My electronics.
i had no problem with Installing this mod, take no longer than 30 Minutes or less to do. I highly Recommend To anyone who want's to learn to modify their controller and is affordable.
